Worst President's First 100 Days in History

The CEO at United Airlines only has power over me if I choose to do business with him or if he gets in bed with politicians to write regulations that harm the market. Otherwise, he has absolutely no power over me.

The elected or appointed official has power over me, no matter what I do.

You think all pre-emptive government regulation is necessary? I would guess most of it is not and that's becoming more and more true.

A policeman has power over you. Is that good or bad or some of both?

All regulations are not necessary. I'm sure there are many regulations that need to be removed or at least refined. I'm equally sure that there are regulations that need to be added.

A policeman makes sense. Protecting life, liberty, and property are the most basic functions of government. I get that.

Why a hair-styling licensing board has power over me, I'll never understand.

That may be one that needs to be removed.

If I last 10 more years on this forum and you guys do to, it will be interesting to see your political views then versus now.

You mean we might get to see the day when Velo and Carlos say Trump was one of the greatest Presidents of all time?

You didn't finish......and if you don't return to liberalism by the time you're 60, you have no wisdom.

Idealism makes you liberal.
Career/financial focus makes you conservative.
Wisdom and perspective return you to liberalism.

Oh no, he finished it correctly. Wisdom and perspective are clearly not liberal traits.

Winston Churchill would smack the taste out of your mouth for saying such things.

Einstein favored socialism over capitalism. He was not a big fan of capitalism.

Who gives a ****? Appealing to an authority is a logical fallacy, whether it's Churchill or Einstein.

And I got news for you. Liberals love capitalism, they just like to ***** about it.

The saving grace is that I'm not voting for people who bomb innocents in the name of an unwinnable war...i hope Obama's body count doesn't keep you up at night.

I ease my conscious with the knowledge that had it not been Obama, it would have been someone much worse. I did my part to avert that catastrophe. You're welcome.

His body count was like as if McCain or Romney were in office.

McCain or Romney would have been suitably average presidents. Neither horrible or awesome. Actually I was really excited for McCain before he selected Palin as his running mate because he had a solid history of working well with both parties. I was hoping for a unifier in office. His selection of Palin still baffles me though.
