Worst President's First 100 Days in History

Great, you can coppy and paste dates, times and people from another website but the problem is that you have no grasp of history.

If Lincoln had withdrawn the troops from Sumter instead of trying to instigate a war, there would have been no war. Then Lincoln doubled down by ordering southern states to raise Armys to attack SC, he knew what would happen and he wanted it to happen.

So, you are telling me if the North had simply capitulated there would have been no war?

Your post is misleading:
"Following South Carolina’s lead, six deep south states adopted secession ordinances in January and February 1861—Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. Another eight slave holding states moved more cautiously. These states were controlled by moderate unionists. Four of them seceded after the start of military hostilities in April 1861 with the attack on Fort Sumter and Lincoln’s call for 75,000 volunteers to suppress the rebellion—Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Tennessee. "

There was no rebellion. The states that seceded had no interest in overthrowing the US Government. Lincoln knew damn well what would happen by ordering the other southern states to raise an army.

Capitulated to what? If had left the states that seceded alone and negotiated with them there wouldn't have been a war and I firmly believe they would have rejoined the union.

If GA was holding kids in sexual slavery, I would say good.
Ok let’s extrapolate to the modern day. Georgia has an immoral institution that holds women and children in sexual bondage. Trump has a platform that outlaws allowing this institution in other parts of the country and wants a new tax that every state will pay. Trump is elected and Georgia secedes. Trump pleads and in his inaugural address offers support to an amendment that makes woman and child bondage legal forever. He also offers federal support for tracking down and returning women and children that escaped from Georgia. Yada yada yada, after the total destruction of Georgia, an amendment is passed that abolishes sexual bondage. It is also abolished in other areas that allowed woman and child bondage that did not secede. ( Looking at you Kentucky)

On April 15, 1861, just three days after the attack on Fort Sumter, President Abraham Lincoln issued a proclamation calling forth the state militias, to the sum of 75,000 troops, in order to suppress the rebellion. He appealed “to all loyal citizens to favor, facilitate, and aid this effort to maintain the honor, the integrity, and the existence of our National Union.” As days passed, senators noted the tremendous response to the president’s call for troops. “The response of the loyal states to the call of Lincoln was perhaps the most remarkable uprising of a great people in the history of mankind,” wrote Senator John Sherman of Ohio. “Within a few days the road to Washington was opened, but the men who answered the call were not soldiers, but citizens.”

And in the midst of all of this, he threatened to have SCOTUS judges arrested, declared martial law and suspended habeas corpus?

McGinty (2008) concludes, if there was such a plan to arrest Taney it would have been both reckless and inflammatory on Lincoln's part, for it would have dramatically escalated political tensions. McGinty, like all of Lincoln's major biographers, concludes there never was any arrest warrant.

The threat to arrest Taney was made, whether there was a warrant issued or not is debatable. However there is no question that Lincoln had political adversaries and judges from lower courts arrested.

Trump said he wanted to adjourn Congress so he could install his people as federal judges. That was unconstitutional, too. But he never acted on it, just like Lincoln never had Taney arrested. Saying and doing are two very different things.

No, please tell us about this supposed war that would have come.
View it as the US had a severe case of gangrene.
Lincoln chose to go ahead and amputate the foot in order to save the leg, or possibly even the life.

Lincoln didn’t care for any life. In fact he sacrificed about 800k lives to preserve his “legacy” as he did not want to be remembered as the President that broke up the nation. That is all that the Civil War was about.
