No offense guys but even with martin it's a below average coaching staff IMO. The man said best staff in america, he has some pretty good money to hire people with go out and hire some good guys and let some of these other guys from your old staff kind of go their own direction. To me right now not looking like the best staff in America.

Hate to change the subject but I was thinking about the press conference yesterday. AD Hart when ask about Jon Gruden said, I reached out to Jon very early on in the process and I heard back through his agent that he was not interested in coaching college football. It's at about the 38:45 time mark in the presser.

Okay not to keep pressing the issue but either AD Hart is lying or Agent for JG is lying. Remember Agent said after the TFP reported the contract that he called Hart and that this was a fantasy that JG would ever coach at UT.

Again someone is lying in this regard.

Thought I would bring it up and see what you think.

if that is the staff, strike one against mr.jones. he flat out lied about the staff. i guess lets move on to recruiting. i'm thinking now he won't get a 4 star recruit. things are looking down.

Cincy had a decent defense - insert SEC players makes it better. Do you want to feel all proud of some name put on staff or do you want Jones to pick who he can work with and fits his ideas on coaching and recruiting? What if you feel better about a name assistant but we win fewer games because they're hired? Who do you think is a better judge of all this - the guy who does nothing but football and gets 3 million to do it or us? Let the man work.

Pretty sure he said Hart called him. From everything I've heard, Hart isn't lying. There was no real interest from Gruden.


As for the staff. I'm a Butch fan, but I'd be a little disappointed with this staff.

I agree I would be disappointed if this is the staff. He has several million I'm sure to hire these guys so get the best and don't settle! He will only be as good as the staff.
