Wow Leonard Little just tweeted saying:

considering BAC of most people doing this would be .02 or less, after one hour, this isn't really a good argument

I was just reading through this thread thinking how much alcohol a big guy like LL had to ingest to blow a .19. That's not exactly a beer after work.

"While i'm still upset. Please don't call everyone who has left UT a #VFL because some of those guys would rather forget their days at Tennessee and move on without even acknowledging the school"

Ouch.

If it is true, thats too bad. If you don't wanna be a Vol, we don't want you nor need you. I have to admit though, since he has left,if his ill feelings are towards Tennessee's football program, there has been nothing to brag about, that part we can agree.

How do you guys not understand?

This thread reads like a bunch of people jumping to conclusions then defending their statements to the death of them.

Little wasn't saying anything about the program today, the fans, the coaches, the current players, any of that.

He was pointing out that the fans have bought into this VFL thing, and some of these guys that were on the team that got booted or left have moved on.

We have no idea in what context he posted the original tweet. He could have seen someone say "This wouldn't happen if Da'Rick was on the field #VFL"
who knows

He wasn't saying that he isn't VFL. He wasn't saying that his teammates from the 90's aren't VFL. He's saying that some of the fans think that anyone who ever put on orange is VFL, and that's not the case.

It's different for everyone, and the players all had different experiences and circumstances that would shape the way in which they view their time on The Hill.

But some of you need to get off your high horse. People make mistakes. A JUDGE (someone who gets paid to care more about this stuff than you do) already issued Little his punishment and he's done what he was ordered to do. He's trying to move on, and so should you. It's not your job to ring the alarm every time you feel an evil-doer is around. Little's history is well known, people can have differing opinions on it, you don't have to pioneer the "FORGIVE NO ONE" movement.
What Leonard Little did wasn't a mistake.

Glass houses people. No one here knows how Mr. Little feels, I would be that he thinks about that event every day and is truly sorry. And for those that call themselves Christians, a sin is a sin and your judging him is no lesser sin than what he did.

Judging somebody is most definitely not a sin.

Considering LL killed an innocent lady while he was under the influence I could care less what that scumbag has to say. He's no member of the Vol Family in my opinion.

Well my opinion is the feeling about YOU is mutual...Freakin' LOSER!!!! BTW, don't you have a car to drive for your next murder?????

For the faint of heart, please excuse my post-Troy frustration.....

He was at the game being acknowledged...I don't really think that screams someone who wanted to forget their days at UT.

People in this thread are ridiculous.

I don't think Leonard was talking about himself. i think he was referring to other players.

Who gives a flying flip what Little says.......this is not and he is then......has no bairing on this staff or team. The offense is great the defense is not.

You guys aren't very bright. He was honored during a timeout Saturday. He's a VFL. He wasn't referring to his own attitude towards the program.

This thread absolutely blew my mind.

I don't know how our fans can be so stupid.

It seems obvious, outside of the words that he used in the actual statement, that a guy who comes to a game to be honored as a Tennessee Legend, is not someone who has turned their back on the program.

Not to mention, the first sentence of the tweet is a disclaimer, that he is mad about the game, but still a VFL.

So. Much. Fail. In. This. Thread.

yes

Yeah, jail terms, drunk driving deaths, kids by multiple women and not paying child support, drug deals gone bad, bankrupcy....those are things those guys should be ashamed of.....

I still have Little's jersey I got back when he played. He was one of my top favorites. Bill Duff was cool too!

I wore that jersey to every game I went to the '98 season. I didn't go to Syracuse or South Carolina that year.

Me and two buddies had a Gameday tradition we did every game that year.

I don't know if we or the jersey had anything to do with luck but we did win the NC that year!

Every game I've worn that jersey to since, we have lost. It's hanging in my closet now and I won't wear it again bc I think all the luck has been used.

But he was the MAN!!!
