I'm telling you one or two more losses and the wheels will fall off that program. I don't think I've ever seen our former players talk about current players like this.

I agree the fan base is very irrational even more so than us IMO haha they expect to win by 35 every game if they could lose again fans will start turning on Saban and he might be like I’m done with this crap . In my head it works haha

In the 15 years that Saban has been there, I have never seen the Alabama fanbase meltdown like this after a loss. At this point, it is getting laughably pathetic.

They still have a shot to even win the National Title. Hell, if we beat Georgia, Kentucky, and the rest of the SEC East, we could be in Atlanta in a rematch with them.

Yet they continue to whine about the team, the refs, the coaching, etc.

Bama is not going to fall apart, Saban won't let it. They lost to TN in a straight up fight and were exposed. I can't stand Bama but I know that that program is built strong enough to withstand a defeat by TN.
I think their defense is porous this season and they will stumble into a loss to Ole Miss that will knock them out of the SECCG and into a New Year's Six Bowl Game.

I'm sorry to say it, but bama is not going anywhere as long as Saban is there. Have you seen the recruiting commitments list for '23? They'll be loaded
for years to come. Usually, a head coach and his staff burns out--it certainly happened to Fulmer and his crew--but it hasn't happened to Saban. It might be because his staff has changed frequently as is coordinators have gotten hired by other programs; the turnover, ironically, keeps the program somewhat fresh, whereas Fulmer kept his core staff for many years and it and the program just got stale and fell into a funk after about a decade of success.

But Nick is going stale like Fulmer and it looks like Alabama could very well be falling into a funk no matter what their Recruiting Class rankings happen to be.

The comment from a Bama player about them having anxiety for this game……that comes from Saban. He was worried about this game, and that caused the team to worry. Mark it down, he’s gone in less than 3 years. The job has finally gotten to him.

Those commitments will start to melt away like a stick of butter left in the car in July if Bama drops another. And the portal will start flooding with five stars wanting to get off the sinking ship while the getting is good

Program starting to slip like Bear Bryant's 1980-1982 Alabama teams.
