Bama is not going to fall apart, Saban won't let it. They lost to TN in a straight up fight and were exposed. I can't stand Bama but I know that that program is built strong enough to withstand a defeat by TN.
Never seen bama with saban lose to UT. You have no idea how they will respond..... they're crushed down here. Still taking about the L, Refs and firing coordinators. I hope they keep talking about it until Saturday and drop another.

Honest question….a couple more loses, does Henry T start contemplating transferring again? (and NO, we don’t want him back here)

I think they have a hard time in a victory over Miss State and then lose to Ole Miss.

Yup, they have very rarely been without hope for a Natty. A second regular season loss kicking them waaaay out of the top 4 and almost no chance at a playoff berth and the knives will come out

I think it started with Texas. This don't look like a Saben coached team no way or fashion.

I live amongst the Gumps. They're close to losing it. I hope they drop this game vs MSU so bad.
I hope Bama blows them out. I hope they blow everyone out up untill the Ole Miss game. Let em start smelling that trophy
then Ole Lane jerks it right out from under their nose. The whole state of Alabama will s*** their self. They will tear Sabens Statue down in Birmingham.

I'm sorry to say it, but bama is not going anywhere as long as Saban is there. Have you seen the recruiting commitments list for '23? They'll be loaded
for years to come. Usually, a head coach and his staff burns out--it certainly happened to Fulmer and his crew--but it hasn't happened to Saban. It might be because his staff has changed frequently as is coordinators have gotten hired by other programs; the turnover, ironically, keeps the program somewhat fresh, whereas Fulmer kept his core staff for many years and it and the program just got stale and fell into a funk after about a decade of success.
They ain't signed on the dotted line yet!

The comment from a Bama player about them having anxiety for this game……that comes from Saban. He was worried about this game, and that caused the team to worry. Mark it down, he’s gone in less than 3 years. The job has finally gotten to him.
Heck, the dude is 70! I'm a bit older but can attest to aging being a factor. That said...beating Bammers could become a habit!

What we saw on Saturday were 2 different coaching philosophies. 1 guy is chill and loose and is fun to play for.

The other guy is a di(k head that makes things miserable.

It was on full display for the world to see last week.
Heupel gets credit for his scheme but not enough for his leadership style. He sets the expectation without having to scream and holler to do it. I think a lot of it has to do with his focus on preparation. Working hard Sunday-Friday is what allows you to have success Saturday. On Saturday come in focused and go ball. You’re not going to fix something by screaming and throwing your headset on gameday if you didn’t get it done during the week. We had that with red-face Jones and it was awful.

On the flipside, this isn’t Phil Fulmer’s almost lackadaisical clap your hands whenever we turn the ball over or give up a big play mentality. The expectation and the standard is just as high as it is with Saban, it’s just communicated in a different way. It also has to do with being focused on what you can control (your preparation and the next play) rather than what you can’t (concrete results and the previous play).

I could see Nick deciding to retire after Alabama beats Auburn if Alabama isn't going to the SECCG or going to the Playoffs. He could get his team really charged up announcing Alabama's New Year's Six Bowl Game will be his last game at Alabama.
