Wow, Mike Constant talking big trash about T'oo T'oo

One loss won't effect that recruiting class. A loss to lane, Brian Kelly or the pirate might. Not throwing dirt on bama but bama fading won't happen overnight.
I would love to see Alabama lose on Sat. If you follow the trends, you know that's not going to happen. I hate Saban too .. but they will play their best game of the season on Saturday. Is Miss State capable of handling their best game? Not by a mile.

I live amongst the Gumps. They're close to losing it. I hope they drop this game vs MSU so bad.
Me too, all I’m hearing is refs this and refs that but they forgot about the tackle in the end zone that led to one of their cheap touchdowns.

Bama is not going to fall apart, Saban won't let it. They lost to TN in a straight up fight and were exposed. I can't stand Bama but I know that that program is built strong enough to withstand a defeat by TN.

When he’s blaming players for a loss, it’s close to coming off the rails. I’ve never heard him call out his player’s like he did on Monday.

hes got the same clueless entitled attitude his teams got and it he doesn't get back to himself, he won't be making a big comeback like he has so many times

Like I said in the thread earlier I fully expect joyless murderball against state but death valley, more than likely at night, and lane kiffins strong offensive mind, will have something to say to a team that already admitted to having anxiety. Kiffin has the matchup on film. He's smart enough to exploit it and the LSU fans will bring the noise. Brian Kelly won't be a tard either since they run a more traditional offense.

Listen to the beginning of Josh Pate's show tonight. He talked about it. Bama won't just suddenly collapse. It'll happen gradually. We might look back on this in 5 years and say this is where it started.
Like 2015 versus Oklahoma- the beginning of the end for CBJ. Twenty-six months later he was gone.

Saban May be suffering the early stages of the Fulmer Effect.

Fulmer, like Saban, was talent reliant. He was at his best when he could stockpile the most talent. When the ESPN money changed the coaching landscape in the SEC, things equalized as better coaches came into the conference. No longer was Fulmer coaching against Brad Scott, Jerry DiNardo, any of the Mikes that strolled through Alabama etc….the talent was upgraded, and his record suffered. This also had the effect of spreading recruits around.

Saban, through the NIL and portal, is starting to feel the effects of talent being spread around. That, and there is some new coaching blood in the conference starting to make noise. At 73, how much more of this does he want to put up with? My guess is he gets the message and moves on quicker than Fulmer did. He’d better…because Bama will be quicker to pull the ejection handle than we were.

Alabama has lost a lot of coaches during Saban's time there. I have always been curious if some of that is due to the coaches not accepting Saban and his expectations.

Successful people sometimes have a major issue with someone that is not as driven as they are. They can be harshly critical of a less driven person. A coach that leaves because of that wouldn't state it, because it would reflect poorly upon them. I don't have an example or any insider information, but I have often wondered if that might be the case sometimes.

The best managers vary their style to the people they are talking to, most can’t and use one style for all. The question is does Nic have such an ego that he uses different styles with his players vs coaches?

Probably not with the coaches, they probably also got the dress down for their groups performances.

Yes, but they still have the #1 rated class for 2023. I would love to see Alabama fade... and it will happen eventually - just not under Saban. I think some of you guys are kicking dirt on them prematurely.

I don’t think they’re dead or even dying at the moment. I do however think we’re going to see more high end talent spread out amongst the power schools than we did 5 or so years ago because the cash is above the table now. That will lead to Bama becoming more equal to everyone else instead of always standing atop the money hill.
We also now have the benefit of a great coaching staff along with good NIL perks to sweeten our appeal.

Added benefit, little Nicky absolutely hates the NIL deals. Have you stopped to ask yourself why that is when he can provide NIL money just like everybody else. Hint: It’s his lost $$ advantage over everyone else.

At some point these young guys do not relate to a 70 year old angry dwarf. Especially when he drops 2-3 games a year. I will say this, if he doesn’t find a decent replacement for BY he is in big trouble next year.
I bet the old goat leaves when BY leaves.

Exacta Mundo! As a leader you must tailor your motivational push to suit each individual. Anyone can be exceptional at some thing. You just have to find that something. I think Coach Heupplespeed can do this.

They barely got by Texas and Texas A&M before us. They have committed an unbelievable amount of penalties and they hold receivers on almost every play. I really will not be surprised if Saban retires soon, if they lose another game.
