So the change and need for a running game takes time. Running backs are starting to become a part of the game. Passing game has been there and it is a little disappointing that the timing with Bray and receivers seems off at times but overall the numbers have been good. Now to defense...it is a new system. And with any new system you have to get the right players. Sal will get this done through recruiting. He has had 1 year. Allow the program to build depth at all positions and allow there to become the continuity Tennessee had with Fulmer, Chavis and Cutcliff. I say keep Dooley. We can't keep firing coaches every 3 years. There isn't a ton of Nick Saben type coaches out there. Let these guys build the program. GO VOLS, GO BIG ORANGE! AND CHANGE THE FREAKING TOPICS ON THIS BOARD!

The guy is trying to say that Sal is going to turn this around with recruiting. We have the worst defense I'm Tennessee history and are not getting the quality recruits in this class to fix it. What good defensive player in their right mind would want to come here and be a part of this mess. I might have faith in our D improving over the off-season except that it has gotten worse over the course of the year and that is a sign of bad coaching. Sal has to go at the very least.

Omg the op is freaking clueless. This team n coaching staff sucks... the off sucks against good teams looks good against bad teams the def is junior high league. Fg n punting is freaking flag football league.. btw they don't don't do either in flag football but yet we r OK with this stupid a?? Coaching staff... just freaking stupid.......

Im sorry so tired of we r OK syndrome .. we r not OK n we suck..... it has to change..

Wow, I hope this is a joke. It's fans like you, that accept mediocracy as a way of life, is the reason that we are now compared to the Vandys and Kentuckys of the SEC. Complaining about the truths of the team is not whining but passion, but I see fans like you are truly the ones who have given up on this team and will accept sub par performance from here on out. We are prolonging the inevitable by Keeping Dooley...those who still have any hope or thought that he is capable of doing anything above par for this team is delusional. You are the type if people that make excuses for everything in life.

Everything you say makes sense but there is just one major problem. This is and will always be a results oriented business. The only results that will allow you to remain employed is wins. Just ask Chizik.
