Only if they’re official. He can unofficial to every school in America if he chooses.
Recruiting
I take that to mean that the coaches and staff can't talk to him, so all he could do is maybe look around on his own.Signing a National Letter of Intent ends the recruiting process because participating schools are prohibited from recruiting student-athletes who have already signed letters with other participating schools.
He can inform other schools without it being public since they can't talk about it.If he's signed , I don't think other schools are allowed to contact him. This brings up an interesting question, if the recruit hasn't made it public that he's signed, then how do other schools know? The receiver that we were chasing that signed early that announced for Oklahoma at the all-star game, we're we not still recruiting him? Would that be considered a NCAA violation?
I remember Price saying awhile back that he rarely answers the phone, keeps it off most of the time. The only reason he even talks with VQ guys is because of their relationship with his HS coach, so he trusts them. If he did in fact sign, which is possible, he could just ignore the other staffs and not take any visits. If he does visit other places we'll know he didn't sign early.Yea, but you know how vindictive schools get though. I think it would leak pretty fast.
I meant that more as a general question not really solely about Wright.I remember Price saying awhile back that he rarely answers the phone, keeps it off most of the time. They still can't expressly say anything. Even if they leak it, it would just be anonymous message board rumors. And what exactly would they gain from leaking that a player already signed with another school? I can't think of any angles that would benefit them or hurt the other school. What I'm trying to say is that if a kid signs with another school the ones that he didn't sign with have no reason to keep it quiet and usually don't.
They are vindictive. Happens all the time. Spoils the kids moment. All they have to do is an assistant coach tells a recruiting service off the record. The recruiting service spills it. It happens all the time with silent commitments. They still can't expressly say anything. Even if they leak it, it would just be anonymous message board rumors. He agreed to do a televised announcement on signing day months ago so his teammates would get some publicity. If he went ahead and announced he would take that away from his teammates.I don't know. This guy still worries me. If he is such a lock to Tennessee, why not just commit or have signed earlier. I live in Virginia and I am hearing a lot of chatter that the new WVU coach is making a lot of inroads with Wright. He didn't care much for Holgorson, but Brown is making an impression. Nobody is ever a lock until the name is signed on th NLI.
