'19 WV OL Darnell Wright (Tennessee signee)

To quote Woody Harrelson in No Country for Old Men.....”You don’t know to a certainty”.

Not directed at the OP.

on a side note that's one of my all time favorite movies.
I remember seeing it on the big screen and we walked in and sat down
and it started and I didn't move for the next 2 hours.

Who do we have ranked too high in your opinion?

Rob Cassidy (Southeast/Florida):
Darnell Wright
has incredible strength and looked solid in the Under Armour All-America Game, but I’m not totally convinced he’s a five-star prospect. He has some bad weight to remove and doesn’t move as fluidly as you’d like. That’s not to say he’s not an elite player. He certainly is. He’s a no-doubt Rivals100 talent. I just think we have him a tad too high.

Woody Wommack (Southeast): I'm not sold on either five-star tackle
Darnell Wright or Kenyon Green and wonder if one or both might actually end up playing inside at the next level. I still think both are very talented, but I'm not sure either would have finished as five-stars if it were my call.

- Rivals

Wright says he doesn't like the process of recruiting for a young man not liking the process he is dragging out the process till the end or he is having a hard time making up his mind where to go we need him badly Morris and Wright would be the corner stone of this team for years to come i don't care if we get another recruit in this class we need Wright and if he comes more elite will follow in the 20 class with results on the field, Wright is one of the most important recruits that we need in years because the OL has been holding back the offense for years.

Again... if you're a Vol commit, signee, or even a lean, you will drop in the Rivals rankings 9 times out of 10. In this article they're mad that they couldn't drop Darnell further, even though he was dominant at the UA game.
I like how they’re talking about Darnell carrying around bad weight. Isn’t Neal walking around close to 360?
Correction:375 lbs

Exactly. But it doesn't matter because he's going to Alabama. Same thing happened with Gray and Sanders. They said that Gray looked small and that's why he would drop. Gray is 200 pounds and only about an inch and a half shorter than Sanders. It's completely ridiculous. Their reasoning for dropping our players is nothing more than excuse making. They have no reason, but one is going to TN, the other to Alabama. How hard is it for a college athlete to lose 20 pounds in a college S&C program? Heck, I'm not in a program like that and I've lost 20 pounds in the last 7 weeks. Wright will lose that here before the end of June if he doesn't lose it before he arrives. It's bogus.

Oh, and not to mention that he and Wanya outperformed Neal as well.

And Neal is fat and slow but is ranked over those 2. Can you pull up all our signees and see how many of not all of them was dropped in rankings by Rivals. I would like to see a complete list, to show erbody what happened.

Wait.... 370 isn't the perfect weight for a 6'6' OT?
