With National Signing Day well under a month away, the new West Virginia coaching staff has hit the ground running in attempt to round out the 2019 class.
New head coach Neal Brown made an emphasis that he wants to keep the talent in the state home. “If you’re in the state of West Virginia, we are going to make it very difficult for you to say no.” he said in his introductory press conference.
Brown is certainly keeping that promise. Today, we learned that consensus 5-star offensive lineman Darnell Wright of Huntington, WV will be officially visiting West Virginia this weekend.
Wright had interest in the Mountaineers at the beginning, but seems to have gained more interest since the coaching change.
Tennessee and North Carolina are also in the mix with Tennessee being the virtual leader at the moment.

I don't know what 'virtual leader' means in the way he said it. In the strictest sense Schuyler is saying UT nearly, or almost, leads for Wright.

Not if it's a secret... several players (uga, fl, bama, & ou prospects) that announced at the army aa game that had already signed, but tell the public

I just realized how nice it will be for Tennessee to land the highest rated uncommitted prospect in the country, by every recruiting service, during the second signing day. That is going to be great publicity for us and will continue this roll we have been on. At first I was a little disappointed that DW didn't commit/sign in Decemeber, now I think it may be a good thing in the long run.
