'19 WV OL Darnell Wright (Tennessee signee)

People keep saying this, but VQ is gonna be there either way. Even if Darnell Wright texted them personally and said he wasn't coming to UT, his commitment (or lack thereof) would still be relevant to the UT fanbase, and they'd be there.

That being said, Vol.

What could VolQuest do that the local Rivals guys couldn't? It’s not Maryville HS.

I would say that's true for the majority of recruits, but when it's a kid that could arguably be the flagship recruit of the whole class for a school like Tennessee I would think even a "he's probably committing here" would be enough.

But it doesn't matter. My confidence is already at 95%, which is the theoretical limit.

That’s true, looks what fanbase is glued to his announcement! Only the most loyal and best.

You have to be joking? They would not drive to West Virginia to see a recruit announce who they are unsure about. Now he may pick WVU but they are confident for a reason.

Well, maybe I'm wrong then. I know it was in state, but Auburn 247 was at Pickens' commitment.

So if Darnell and/or the coaching staff refused to give them any info about Wright's commitment plans, would they just not go? Even if they were 90% confident he was picking the Vols?

Hoover is literally Auburn's back yard

I think because Velvet Underground had a record called Warlocks.

As far as the Grateful Dead name, I think Jerry just stumbled upon it while thumbing through some old dictionaries, encyclopedias. Probably high and thought it sounded trippy.
Another band, not sure if they were in the SF area or not, were called The Warlocks, and they were already pretty well established, so they had to change it. The Velvet Underground had also used that name early on.

Yeah, Jerry was high on LSD, and claimed all the other words on the page disappeared, and the phrase, the grateful dead, was all that was left.
