Wright has been linked to Tennessee for quite some time, but he took visits to West Virginia and North Carolina late in the process. He has a former teammate in Billy Ross, who is at North Carolina, and the new staff at West Virginia has made him a priority. The Vols have been after Wright for a long time, though, and can offer some stability in terms of coaching compared to the other schools on his list, who are all experiencing significant changes.

I think because Velvet Underground had a record called Warlocks.

As far as the Grateful Dead name, I think Jerry just stumbled upon it while thumbing through some old dictionaries, encyclopedias. Probably high and thought it sounded trippy.

Pretty sure it happened as a result of SF Acid Tests. damn was org slated to be an American reply to British Invasion; and had that sound.(But what the hell do i know i wasnt alive then).

Love the Warlock stuff. damn with Ron was good stuff.

I think this class is a success, period. But if Wright didn't sign today and To'oto'o signs elsewhere, January will have been a disappointment for this staff. That would basically mean that, since the early signing period, we've only lost guys and added no one.
