Volwark - what did you think about Flair's comments regarding Cesaro/Brock?

Personally, I'd love to see it, but Cesaro needs better booking to make him credible with the way Brock has been booked.

I agree and disagree with him on some things.

-I don't agree that it's HHH that likes the big guys. This has always been Vince's thing. It's quite the opposite. HHH backs guys like Kevin Owens, but Vince drools over the guys like Reigns. I think Bret's grudge against HHH is affecting his opinion.

-Obviously I don't agree with him about Reigns being one of the hardest workers. As Austin said, the guy basically took a nap in the corner during the Royal Rumble. I think this is another case of his personal bias affecting is opinion, since Reigns is a big fan of Bret. Don't necessarily agree with him about Ambrose either, altho admittedly I never considered the aspect of guys going for one spot after another instead of selling the impact. Maybe Ambrose is good at that; I haven't paid attention. There is a lot of spot monkey stuff that goes on now, particularly in the indies and NXT. Guys don't sell the psychology of the match. The women in NXT are actually doing a good job it.

-I definitely agree with him on Rollins being on the unsafe side. I like Rollins, but even before Cena and Sting were hurt, Rollins has looked reckless.

-I disagree that Reigns as been the victim of bad booking. He's had favorable booking. He's been the victim of bad creative. Some moron in the back (and by moron, I mean the old geezer) thinks because he is related to the Rock that he can come out and spin nursery rhymes like the Rock. He's better off being the quiet Diesel type.

-Not sure if I agree that Heyman is the best manager in the history of wrestling. It would have to be a tie between him and Heenan methinks.

-Agree they don't book their European stars well, but Sheamus is flat out boring. Barrett is misused badly (even if he still looks like he needs to eat a sammich), as was McIntyre. Cesaro speaks 17 languages. 17! If that is not an ambassador for your company, then I don't know what is.

I agree with you for the most part, but I agree with Hart that Reigns is a great worker in the ring.

Hopefully it's nothing more than ISIS throwing ideas around, rather than actually seriously planning it. The other event they need to keep a very close eye on is the Star Wars debut next month.

According to Jim Ross, Cesaro has been working with a shoulder injury and will need surgery soon. Get well soon, Cesaro.

Cesaro, Bryan and Rollins out for months, Reigns about to go on a long reign (no pun intended) as champ....gonna be a rough time to watch WWE for a while

Maybe not tonight, but it's going to happen sooner rather than later. Vince is not going to keep dangling the carrot in front of his new golden boy.

My pick was Sheamus to cash in tonight, but with the terror threats, I wouldn't be surprised if the show doesn't end with the belt around Reigns' waist while he waves the American flag in the ring, and Vince is jacking off at gorilla.

That Cesaro news stinks. Hopefully his time off to recover has an "absence makes the heart grow fonder" effect with the casual fans. A big reaction for his return could be what he needs to finally get a big push.

Isn't Survivor Series supposed to be part of the 3rd tier of WWE PPVs? Like Mania at the top, then SummerSlam, then the Rumble and Survivor Series? This just feels like an incredibly weak and small card.

I've always enjoyed Survivor Series, but with only one traditional Survivor Series match (I'm not counting the pre-show match) this is just another PPV.

Solid first match though, even though we knew the outcome in advance.
