WWE Reportedly Producing New Designs For Intercontinental & United States Championships - Wrestlezone

I saw this earlier. I definitely think the US belt needs an overhaul, but I like the IC belt. It's a classic design, but the white strap gives it a modern look.

I figured with that Ambrose moment with Shane it was definitely leading toward that. It does sadden me that the IC is changing, though. 100% for changing the US Title, though.

Along with belt design and belt treatment, I can't believe they let Roman disrespect the belt every time he walked out with the US title tossed over the back of his shoulder like he couldn't care less. That one time Foley took it from him and fixed it made me so happy, but then he went right back to lugging it around like it was a hassle instead of an achievement.

Watched the U.K. tournament tonight. Really fun. Enjoyed it.

Nigel McGuinness needs to be hired to the announce team on Smackdown and replace Otunga RIGHT NOW. Nigel was absolutely wonderful. What a joy.

WWE pulling down Seth Rollins saying he wants to see Kenny Omega as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble after putting it on their website has me intrigued 🤔🤔🤔

Kenny Omega is AJ Styles level of good if not better, so I'd pop pretty hard if he showed up at the Rumble.

Let's not get crazy. Not to sound like Jim Cornette but while Omega is good, he isn't near the level of Styles. His tweaks and facial expressions are too over the top. He is good and in time will have a chance to be great but he is no AJ.

Lost his spot in the Rumble to Sami Zayn. He hit a Pedigree on the apron and as he went for the pin HHH's music hit. SZ rolled him up after the distraction.

So are they gonna let the winner challenge for whichever title he wants, or is it going to be if you're Raw guy you have to challenge for the Universal title and if you're Smackdown you have to challenge for the World title?
