WWE Thread III

#16 happens at Wrestlemania IYAM. It might be next year though.

I think Styles and Reigns goes in as champions. Reigns losing the US title confirms it for me.

No clue who Styles faces. I'll be honest though Cena vs Styles IV with Cena as champ at WM winner take all match would be the most interesting angle and make the most sense to me.

Cena gets #16 at RR. Defends at EC and gets a big win. Styles gets individual rematch at WM. Styles gets his WM moment by beating Cena and Cena goes takes his break to do his tv show/movie for the next few months

22 announced entrants. My prediction for the remaining entries:

Samoa Joe
Tyler Bate
James Ellsworth
Kane
Jerry Lawler
Bobby Roode
Finn Bàlor
Seth Rollins

First 4 are almost guaranteed. King's interaction with Dolph was a tease. I think he enters and eliminates DZ. Bobby Roode appears as newly minted NXT Champion. Finn makes his anticipated return from injury to a great pop. Finally, I think Seth gets back in by jumping through hoops set by Steph, only to have H screw him in some form. I just can't see not having Seth in the RR for 3 straight years. That's dumb, even by WWE's standards.

This also means no Kenny Omega, unfortunately.

I think it would be hilarious if Tyler Bate and Jack Gallagher ended up in the ring at the Rumble together

I thought WWE won't put you on a main roster show unless you are 21

René Dupree was 19 when he made his main roster debut with La Resistance. He is the youngest wrestler to ever hold a title in WWE history at 19 years and 6 months old. Of course they might wait until someone turns 21 now as a new rule.

This is my prediction for the wrestlemania card.....

Universal Title match
Owens vs Zayn vs Jericho

World Title Match
Styles vs Cena

Mixed tag for Ic title
Ambrose and Renee Young vs Miz and Maryse

Raw Tag title match

Anderson and Gallows vs Enzo and Cass vs New Day vs Cesaro and Sheamus

Smackdown Tag Title match

American Alpha vs The Revival

Raw Womens title match

Charlotte vs Bayley

Smackdown Womens title match

Bliss vs Lynch vs James

Cruiserweight title match

Neville vs Aries

HHH vs Rollins

Reigns vs Stroman

Last woman standing match

Banks vs Jaxx

Undertaker vs Corbin

Lesner vs Goldberg

Bray vs Orton vs Harper

Andre Battle Royal

Notes: Owens and Jericho will still be best friends going into the match with the build that it will basicly be a 2 on 1 handicap match against Zayn. I'm not sure who will be the champion heading into the world title match heading into mania. In the mixed tag match if eith Ambrose or Young is pinned, Miz win the IC title.

How would y'all feel about a Kane-Undertaker Last Man Standing match at Mania where the loser retires and they both beat the hell out of each other to the point that neither can reach their feet by the count of 10 and the Brothers of Destruction retire together

That's just too much

My biggest problem with that is you're putting Kane on the same pedestal with Taker. Kane has been great, but Taker's career is on another level sans the American Badass biker phase he went through.

Taker is such an incredible figure I want someone to retire him and get that push from a young guy. If they made a great story out of it (like Taker/Michaels) I'd be okay with that kind of idea.

I just don't have the same affinity for Taker. He's wrestled, what, 11 televised matches since 2011 (9 singles matches)? Meh. Kane has been a dedicated worker since 1997. His tenure, to me, has earned the ability to go out side-by-side with his storyline brother.

All-time, Kane has worked more than double the amount of matches Taker has wrestled and is 2 years younger.

I agree with you. I'm the only person I know of who legitimately would like to see Kane get one final world title run. The Streak is dead and it's not coming back, I would have no problem at all sending the two of them out together.

I don't think he needs a title run. Unless it's a Brothers of Destruction tag title run.

Lol, I wasn't trying to get support for a Kane title run, was just using that as an example of my marking out for Kane. I think a BoD send off like you described would be great.
