Wrestlemania, which has featured Mr T, Lawrence Taylor, Regrigerator Perry, Jenny McCarthy and Pamela Anderson as valets, Pete Rose, Bob Uecker, so many others, most notably our current POTUS against Vince McMahon and you are crying like schoolgirls hearing of the NSYNC breakup because two HOFers are going to have a squash.

Yet, you loved Cena getting squashed.

Other than LT, which wasn't any good, did any of those ME Wrestlemania?

I'm not against a Goldberg/Lesnar match. Not my cup of tea because I hate Goldberg but I'd be fine with it. But for a title? For the ME? In 2017? With most likely a squash for Lesnar? Hell no. That's not fun.

Yeah, got it backwards, but whatever, the point remains. WM is full of dumb crap. Every single year. 30+ years. Yet you want to pretend that you're shocked and appalled by Vince teaming up two true heavyweights for a main event match, as if that isn't the entire premise of WWE.

So wait, we should enjoy dumb crap and just be perfectly okay with it? What kind of attitude is that? I understand the celebrity aspect of it. That's fine. The point of Wrestlemania isn't just to get casuals in (which actually they need to get away from since PPV buys aren't important and they have the Network) but also grow the company. Having a two minute match between a guy who hasn't been around in 12 years hosting car shows and a part timer as your ME isn't a good a plan period.

It has. It was 20 years ago and it took WCW basically taking over wrestling but change has happened. Vince is king so he doesn't have competition. I'm not even asking for complete let's go back to the attitude era change. I'm just asking for more entertaining ideas, specifically on RAW.

The problem is overexposure. Back in the day, you got 2 hours a week. Now you get 5. There's bound to be a lot more lowlights.

Three hours is killer and I think that's why they went to the brand split too. But RAW is not going back to two hours.

Absolutely not. That bad 3rd hour if wrestling is still a revenue winner.

I wish they'd just put NXT on in the 1st hour or just have squash matches like in the old days. The bad promos and extended womens segments are brutal.

Or 205 Live maybe. I don't know what the answer is. When you have to include Titus O'Neill and Jinder Mahal every week just for bodies you're in trouble.

When NXT was hiring a lot of former TNA talent I saw a suggestion where you go three hours with a WWE roster and then two hours of Smackdown with NXT and 205 Live every week. But I don't think that would make sense from a business perspective
