I love his podcast. That Goldberg interview was solid.
I agree. Goldberg was a great interview. But then again, I haven't heard JR do a bad show yet. He's just a pro. I'll probably tune into crappy boxing on FS1 Saturday night just to hear him do play by play.

That's the thing tho: the business has changed cause of the Network. It's not gonna reach it's goal. The people that are gonna get the network, have already done so
The network has only been available domestically so far. It's going to add a ton of international subscribers on top of the current 700K.

Their goal was 1 mil domestic. It's not even close, and never will be. All their promises to investors were based on domestic numbers (btw, there are now 5 known firms investigating WWE). What else could they offer, besides making RAW a network exclusive? Divas porn maybe? They could stack every PPV from here to kingdom come like WrestleMania, but it won't work. The demand is just not there anymore. Wrestling isn't cool anymore, at least like it was during the Rock/Austin days.

Maybe the lack of comp plus creative not getting the job done will force the management into getting good quality wrasling again

And that goal was based on absolutely no real data. The domestic subscriber base as it stands isn't the best case scenario, but probably second or third. WWE's only misstep was setting expectations too high when they didn't have to.

If only.

welp some people I work with are there...they tried to punk me out on wrestling information

they were like...oh

soooooooooooo tired of HHH. Even if this is just a "putting The Shield over" thing, how much more over does The Shield need to get? No, this is HHH wanting to be front and center.
