Yes...maybe they should have had three guys on Lewis...

Lewis was there best offensive threat all day long from three...I would have made someone else beat me...

You can clearly see from that picture that Lavender's hand is nowhere near being right in Lewis' face...looks pretty uncontested to me...

So, in essence, they should have triple teamed Lewis (34% 3 point shooter) and left Conley (31%) and Butler (39%) open...?

I never said put 3 people on him...

All I mean is I would have but bigger guys in the game and not left 5' 7" Lavender to guard Lewis who was money from 3 all day...

Side note, Butler had a WIDE open three to tie it earlier in the game and his missed...

It was a three to take the lead that Butler missed. Also, Lewis last made a 3 pointer with 8:50 left in the game.

As to your "bigger guys" theory. Cage and Lavender were both on Lewis...Cage was too slow to get in to his face, as most bigger men would have been.

5 feet??? You have depth perception issues?

Okay so maybe it was 3 or maybe 4...facts are it doesn't really matter, he wasn't "on him" like you said...if you are going to start questioning my depth perception issues than that is weak...

Look I am not here to discount your position or put you down in any way...your entitled to your opinion just as much as I am to mine...

Please come with something better than that...that was in no way putting you down...you were completely blasting my opinion and telling me I was wrong, I never once did that to you...

I never once said that I was not trying to discount your opinion, either.

I will state again, for the record, you are wrong if you truly believe that Xavier should not have fouled in that situation.

Like was previously stated, it's easy to say that now after he went down and made the shot...It's easy to say I am wrong because that happened...

Also, as previously stated, I don't believe either of us are wrong, just view the situation differently and have formed our own opinion...

Either way, the players on the team are good at shooting 3's, very good, and they have been clutch with them all year, so why give them a chance?

You don't you have got to play better defense than that...a 3 is the only way they can tie you...you put all your guys out by the three point line and make them shoot 5 feet behind the arc or make them drive and get a 2 and then foul and by the time that happened time would have been minimal...

What is funny? I don't get it...if they would have drove and got a 2 and then tried and fould right away and they had to drive the whole court again there is no way there is enough time...
Does it take 7 seconds to drive from the 3 point line to the basket? I always thought it took around half a second...

Also, you are giving them an automatic layup in exchange for half a second run off the clock, in exchange for two free throw attempts and no time off the clock...

Ummmmm the clock would have kept running after the layup...if that was case...

Anybody else hear that Oden is going out for the Buckeye football team?

I mean after that hit he put on the Xavier guy at the end, he's gotta be on the team doesn't he? Sure could of used that kind of hittin' in the National Championship game

He's definitely got the speed aspect of his game down to join a Big Teen football team.
