So, in essence, they should have triple teamed Lewis (34% 3 point shooter) and left Conley (31%) and Butler (39%) open...?Lewis was there best offensive threat all day long from three...I would have made someone else beat me...
You can clearly see from that picture that Lavender's hand is nowhere near being right in Lewis' face...looks pretty uncontested to me...

It was a three to take the lead that Butler missed. Also, Lewis last made a 3 pointer with 8:50 left in the game.I never said put 3 people on him...
All I mean is I would have but bigger guys in the game and not left 5' 7" Lavender to guard Lewis who was money from 3 all day...
Side note, Butler had a WIDE open three to tie it earlier in the game and his missed...
5 feet??? You have depth perception issues?
I never once said that I was not trying to discount your opinion, either.
I will state again, for the record, you are wrong if you truly believe that Xavier should not have fouled in that situation.
Either way, the players on the team are good at shooting 3's, very good, and they have been clutch with them all year, so why give them a chance?
:lolabove:You don't you have got to play better defense than that...a 3 is the only way they can tie you...you put all your guys out by the three point line and make them shoot 5 feet behind the arc or make them drive and get a 2 and then foul and by the time that happened time would have been minimal...
Does it take 7 seconds to drive from the 3 point line to the basket? I always thought it took around half a second...What is funny? I don't get it...if they would have drove and got a 2 and then tried and fould right away and they had to drive the whole court again there is no way there is enough time...

Also, you are giving them an automatic layup in exchange for half a second run off the clock, in exchange for two free throw attempts and no time off the clock...
