It is early, but I love the kickoff rules.

I watched the Houston/LA game last night and found it to be very entertaining. Very fast paced, action-filled and HARD hitting. I didn't know any of the players, but that doesn't mean much because I'm no football scholar. This game seemed more about football than NFL fluffed full of commercials. Great camera shots with instant player interviews on the sidelines during gameplay. It was kind of the feel of NASCAR ( the good parts, that is). Time will tell if the games get choked with commercials. In the meantime, last night's game was like watching two college teams that I'm not very interested but play at a level that keeps me interested in the game. I think I've found a new season of football that isn't NFL!

I watched Sea vs DC, and I also enjoyed it. Loved the new kickoff format. Think it is a million times safer than the regular format. Loved it more than the AAF.

The XFL is going to be very good and it will be around for a long while

its very interesting with the 1-2-3 pt extra point. Takes the virtually automatic point out of the equation. This will drive Vegas crazy. One thing, if you do a square board for scores on the game, you wont be pizzed if you get the dreaded 8-8 or 2-2

I mentioned that too yesterday about the squares when it was 19-19. Not sure I've ever seen that score before.

To be fair to them, they've put up with 2 crappy NFL teams for a while now, so the thought of a 3rd crappy pro team might not be the most appealing at the moment.
