Fulkerson is quick enough to cause the OSU guy trouble. Uros has terrible foot quickness. The OSU guy averaged 5 pts a game and he abused Uros. If Uros can’t defend that guy, he’s a complete waste of a scholarship, as is Pember, EJ & Gaines.

Can't disagree, but as you mentioned, you do need shotmakers. We are maddeningly inconsistent.

Yea, today’s game requires that. We actually had good looks in the first half that we missed yesterday. Team looked a little tight. Pretty sure if you look at teams like VCU and GM who made Cinderella runs, their tournament 3 point averages were well above the regular season. Auburn in 2019 is another example. Austin Wiley was their only player over 6’8,” and he was their 7th leading scorer at 7 and 4.

JJJ is the type of player than can do damage these days with his length and having a good shot. Problem is that his shot is so inconsistent.

While it helps, big men don't have to be scoring machines. The center's responsibility is to make driving to the basket uncomfortable for the guards and smaller forwards, get them to alter their shots, and then come away with the rebound.

Sure, but they aren’t required to win these days, and the teams I listed bear that out.
