The story of the kid is Rip's retold. The whole horse business plot seems a bit deluded. No back story or dialogue as to why Rip killed Roark. After the intense shootouts with Kayce getting shot, we didn't see him again until he wandered up in camouflage????? Lazy writing. Probably last season and Sheridan has several projects going on right nowFrom the first 2 episodes last night I'm afraid the show has jumped the shark. It's in fantasy land now.
I felt like the entire season three was lazy and a letdown. Just went off the rails. This just continues where that left off pretty much. After the first 30 minutes, everything seem disjointed. I kinda feel like they’re setting up this Rip and Beth’s adopted kid scenario to cause a tragic loss for them down the road. Was the body they found when they were digging the same one they burried in 1883?

Ok but Rip will always be my favorite. Killing the guys attacking Beth with his bare hands and then looking Down and saying “oh look, I got shot, I think I’ll sit down for a minute “ was about as awesome as it gets.Yeah. Two at the office, at least two more at the van and then filling that guy full of lead when he tried to drive off. Rip was running behind Tate for while!
