Yellowstone (Paramount Network)

He killed Rourke for sending the 2 to trample the ranch hands in the river .
Yeah, I get that. His investment firm was a huge antagonist to the Duttons as it was plotted in season 3. Where the fack did they go and why? Sheridan didn't write any of that into these episodes. Why? For the lazy plot of the kid entering their lives? Or for giving us the tired old plot of the old schooler not adhering to medical advice? Or the silly "we're going to become a known horse ranching business?". Give me a f'ing break.

Uuuhhhh
The chairperson of the board has flown in and taken over for the investment firm.

Ok but Rip will always be my favorite. Killing the guys attacking Beth with his bare hands and then looking Down and saying “oh look, I got shot, I think I’ll sit down for a minute “ was about as awesome as it gets.

Oh yeah. Rip is the man.

My thoughts...

I thought the first 13 minutes were awesome.

I am not sure who organized or did it, but I still have a thought it might be Malcom Beck. We kinda know it isn't Jamie - he leased the land instead of selling it (does that really get him off the hook?). We know it isn't market equities - really doesn't make sense since they need the government help to secure the deal.

I believe Malcom Beck is alive, he was saved by the militia when John left the field that night.

He is now the leader of the militia and out for revenge. They had the time to plan it and the guns and ammo required. Also the "party planner" from the episode in the casino totally looked like a militia boy.

Jamie's bio dad is also part of the militia, he used Jamie for information about the family and ranch and passed it onto the militia for the attacks.

It was odd that Rips house was burned down. That had to be personal - maybe from Jamie or from Walker?

Mo knows who did it and will bring that person to John. Can't freaking wait. That's the biggest cliff hanger from this episode.

Loved how Rip used the snake to kill Rourke. Genius.

I also just love Beth - I am the bigger Bear!!!

What happened to Monica and Tate? Where did they go?

100% the body they dug up was from the 1883 clip - buried with the steer they gave them for meat.

Jimmy getting injured sucked - I think it would have been better to die. Interested to see where they take this character now that they are shipping him off.

What happened to the little boy who John stopped to help change the tire for? We saw his mother get mowed down, but it looked like he hid in the ditch?

I enjoy this Drama tv show that has realistic characters that are ambiguous because the main characters aren't simply bad characters or simple good characters.

Casey should have told her to take her ass back to the reservation.
Yep. She does nothing but bitch and moan about his land and family yet she keeps hangin' around. Keep hoping for something to take her out of the show. Thought we might get lucky with the attack, but no such luck thanks to the son handling that 12GA so well.

Yeah, Monica is annoying as hell. And Tate is getting that way too. And now Lloyd is complaining he cannot hang onto a girl 30-40 years younger than he is. The only people not whining or worried about other peoples' feeling are Beth, John and Rip. And the cowboys in charge of the traveling horse show.

Speaking of, while I admire fine horses working, we are getting too much of it. Beginning to remind me of the rolling skating scene from Heaven's Gate.

Also, there are some bizarre things going on with the writing. What the h#LL was that with John doing an "old fashioned shootout" at the train station? I'm calling BS on that one.

Agree on all counts.

Lloyd is way too smart for this.
The douchebaggery towards Jimmy was way overdone.
John Dutton would never be that reckless.
