@BFQuinn Tennessee announces center Yemi Makanjuola has been granted a release to transfer to another program.

Takes care of bringing in the JUCO center. Now to see about the other Scholarship.

Expected after the new dude came on. I don't see Stokes leaving but hopefully he doesn't surprise anyone and actually go.

Martin is such a F-in douche!!! Yemi was going to be a good player for us. He improved every game he played in and did his job. This was a dumb move by Martin and he can go "F" himself. He might as well transfer too, because he won't be here to much longer

Yemi was one of my favorite players on the team even though he wasn't very good.

This is the best option that could have happened after we heard of the new JV guy. Yemi would NOT be leaving if Stokes was leaving even with the addition of the new JV guy. Makes up feel much more comfortable that Stokes is leaning to staying.

Yemi only played like 3 minutes in his final 5 games. I would wager that his leaving is of his own doing.

Martin's a douche for letting Yemi know he's not going to get much PT, so he releases Yemi from his obligation to play exclusively for UT? And Martin is the douche?

I would love to hear you say those things to his face.

That's the beauty of the message board.
Say anything to Ole Blue you want without getting your face altered.

Martin did what he believes he had to do to make the team better. I liked Yemi and after looking at the new guy's stats I have to wonder if it was the right choice, but CCM knows a lot more about the 2 than I and he is the one accountable for the W/L record.

So have you not ever seen players transfer from programs or are you just trying to be a troll?

I would say that to Martin's face believe it or not. I'd probably add some more to it. Martin never liked Yemi from the get go. Anytime Yemi would play well, Martin would find a reason to sit him down. I really do not understand Martin's philosophy on "being consistent". If your going to be "consistent" then don't add a Juco post player and keep the one you have.

Hopefully Martin was just honest with Yemi and told him that he wasn't going to get the playing time that he deserved because of a Stokes/Maymon front court. Yemi is a solid player and would start on a lot of other teams.

Hahaha you are obviously clueless. I know where Martin's office is. Let's give him a visit.

I think he needs to be honest with Quentin Chievous as well if that's the case
