Butch jones is nothing but a truthful guy. He's gonna be something special here and here's why:
-He brings a whole new concept of offense to the SEC, it's a spread that will work.

-He's got a good attitude that fires the players up unlike Dooley who just sat there with his arms crossed.

-Any man that goes into a presser and compares his future to Saban and Miles has confidence and knows he will be successful.

It's a breath of fresh air, the fan base is split though. This was a great hire, some people are still called for Gruden and Gundy, freaking give me a break!!!! They turned the offers down, so to hell with them. They are nothing but coaches without guts that didnt wanna clean this mess up. CBJ has a pair and to glory Tennessee will be led. If you don't like the hire, turn in your merch and root for someone else. GO BIG ORANGE, WE ARE BACK!!!!

I'm on board the Butch train. I'll admit it has taken a few hours to grow on me, but I think he'll do a good job here. (Of course, I said that about the last 2 hires, so excuse me if I'm a little apprehensive)

He bringing the same offense that Brian Kelly is running at Notre Dame. It is a run first offense.

power football running. that's what i meant. His running mainly consist of the Spread.

Again, you do not know what you are talking about, he will work with the players he has to work the scheme around them, yes he has had smaller RBs at CMU and UC so he was forced to scheme a spread running attack, but grab Derrick Green, and keep Jay Graham, and the running game will not be a problem in the future (even w/o green, as long as we keep graham)

I know I sure liked what he said about going after Tennessee kids and keeping good relations with the in-state HS coaches. It sounded like he really meant it. Everything is hype now and no one really knows what will happen...but he is head coach at Tennessee and that's good enough for me to wish him all the luck in the world!
GO VOLS!

He impressed me a the presser , at first I didn't know what to think but I like the guy.
Compared himself to saben and miles I like his confidence. And for all the negative people that probably never contributed to the orange, go pull for the gators that's how they got most of their fans

I would be confident too if I walk into a position making 3 mil a year and the guy prior made 1.9 mil. Then see a QB that I had recruited hard already on campus too and another good QB in the stable. Instead of only having 2 guys that just got on campus and weren't really highly recruited. Yeah I'd feel better about the situation.

I don't know what people saw on the sidelines with dooley. I saw him being fired up just as much as having his arms crossed. Lots of  moments too when a turnover would happen on a key scoring drive that would help put the game away.

You know, watching CBJ in the press conference, I kind of realized just what a shell of a coach we had with Dooley and what could happen if this guy gets a staff and some players.
