kind of hard for you to take the moral high ground, isn't it? at least it should be with luminaries like Bill Maher expressing their sorrow that the attempt on Cheney failed.
Bill maher is not on a certain cable news channel 15-20 times a month as an expert on anything hell Andy coulter is on every show fox news has even the supposed buisiness show.

so? Bill has his own show, and has had several of his own in the past.

James Carville has said some pretty reprehensible things, yet he remains the darling of a certain news organization.

Coulter's appearances on Fox News will likely be sharply reduced. Contrary to what you may have been told by Kos, conservatives have not exactly been rallying behind her.

if ann coulter didn't consistently put her foot in her mouth, it wouldn't be an issue.

some of you people amaze me! i was in the first gulf war and was an NBC NCO. what do you think caused gulf war syndrom? what? you think our troops inhaled to much sand, or maybe it was breathing in all that smoke from the oil wells saddam set on fire? the monster had and still had WMD. you are not gonna find a huge warehouse full of these things. one small vile poured into the water system of Detroit could kill hundredes of thousands of people. some of these wonderful weapons only need to be inhaled into your lungs and your a dead man. ww are talking the size of a tip of a sewing needle. and what was it saddam used to kill all those hundreds of thousands of kurds with? guess you probably think it was laughing gas. he had bunkers the size of small towns buried beneath the desert over there. plus the fact that he had 8yrs to hide his entire supply of these WMD'S didnt hurt his cause either. if the US government and the United Nations had done their job from the beginning this stupid war would not be going on right now. even lybia has turned over there weapons arsenal because of what president Bush did to iraq. go and rent or buy yourself a copy of CNN AMERICA REMEMBERS and go to the special features section and watch Bush's speech to the nation after 9-11 . the man has kept his word on everything he has said concerning this war. put your stupid political games and retoric aside and listen to the truth for a change. if our intelligence was wrong, than so was everyone else's. between Carter and Clinton our military was just about destroyed. if it hadnt been for men such as Reagan, Bush Sr. and our current president we would probably already be in a civil war right here in the US on our on soil. now you go on believing what you wish, that is your right, but i am speaking from experiance here. 10yrs of my life i gave to my country trying to protect her from enemies foreign and domestic.......

I just think it's hilarious that the attendees of the conference are trying so hard to backpedal and distance themselves from this. All of these candidates are squeamish of being associated from something so many seem to not have a problem with. Who is in need of a spine or some grapefruits?

Your paranoia amazes me and also this thread is about Andy coulter ans her huge mouth and yes that is meant both literal and figurative try to get with the program. Oh by the way in case you have not noticed most of the country does not like this war or this president does the date November 7th 2006 ring a bell for you.

if you really believe that, you should step back for a second and think about how divided this country was before the current president took office, and how divided it has become since. im not saying there is any chance a civil war happens, but to say we would already be in one if not for the bush family is absurd.

If daddy Bush had taken out Saddam when he had the chance, but he didn't do that did he?

bush sr. did not go into iraq for the simple reason that saddam surrendered. you dont attack a country after its already signed a peace agreement. i guarantee you this. if bush sr. had won re-election instead of clinton, saddam would not have started breaking the 17 resolutions he had signed after the gulf war. do you not remember saddam firing on US pilots patroling the southern no-fly zone? this only started happening after clinton was elected president......

oh you have GOT to be kidding me, it didn't matter who was president, saddam was going to be saddam. there is no argument, no argument, NO argument otherwise. to think that it had anything to do with who was sitting in the white house is ABSURD

the US was in no way as divided under Reagan as it is now. Reagan lost one state in his re-election. the country for the most part was stronger and more patriotic under Reagan's leadership. the one thing that truly was the main failure of Reagans 8yrs. in office was the government not coming clean about aids.

you keep telling yourself that. how long did it take libya to come clean about its weapons of mass destruction after we invaded iraq. clinton was a world president, bush is an American president. who is sitting in the white house does matter. go and do some studying on world history. im not saying Clinton was a bad president. Carter on the other hand was horrible. Reagan was a force to be reconed with and the world knew it. Go back and look at how the USSR considered Reagan, and how they looked at Carter. huge, huge differance.

Qadafi only came clean because he's more concerned about his well-to-do life than his religion or principles. He is far from the type we deal with in Iraq, Iran, and a few other select nations.

Yes, there are Dems/liberals who do the same thing. But again the point is that the Right, especially the ones congregating at this event, have made it their core values to be moral, religious, and above such behavior. The issue is not what side does what but the side or group who claims a pious behavior has this statement attached to it.

And the left has made it's core values to be diversity, tolerance, free speech (eh hem), etc. They should give her an award for speaking "truth to power" in the manner of Al Franken, Bill Maher etc.

Both sides practice hypocrisy with equal talent and zeal.

Sad but true. I'm sure Ann Coulter's cell phone has been going off nonstop with Dennis Kusinich leaving voice mails begging to be called the N word.

No evidence of Iraq hinding any weapon. Neighbors hate each other over there. Are we going to war on assumptions now?

if the US government and the United Nations had done their job from the beginning this stupid war would not be going on right now.
