Um, her car got towed

Um, a little more to it. Evidently the area is prone to towings for little reason if any. I'd say that the vast majority of us here on VN would go far beyond what she did. Not defending her in the least -she's nationally known and should conduct herself at a higher level - but she didnt park in a handicapped spot or fire lane or use her name for an illegal reason

I've had a run in with people in the towing business before as well and can say that they actually are pretty awful people. When I called in about my car-- which I was extremely polite-- the woman at the tow place treated me like ****.

And let's be real guys, she is a sideline reporter. They are paid to 1. Look good. 2. Be well spoken. 3. Ask questions. They aren't hired for their opinions.

Both people involved aren't saints. The tow company has a bad history AND the women who took the video was aggressively shopping it around for days trying to stir up trouble

Pretty is as pretty does. Anybody who acts like that immediatly loses any level of hotness they might have had in my opinion.

You sure about that? Shes even hotter now in my book...i like a little firecracker with an edge.

Not saying that what Britt said was right, but after reading Yelp and Google reviews about this place the attendant probably had it coming. Would love to hear the unedited version

Idk how much ability she has to be a sideline reporter to begin with... This is probably going to sound sexist (it's not) but I'm so tired of the current trend of putting a bimbo out there that looks great on TV but doesn't necessarily know what she's talking about. Not that a few aren't great at their job either though.

But I do agree that firing her is a little harsh since it isn't really related to her performance in her field. I think an apology might be in order though.

Yeah I hate seeing Samantha Ponder on the sideline instead of Jack Arute.

Ain't nuttin' but a spoiled, disillusioned witch! Probably one of the few times she's ever had to deal with a "real world" problem.

I understand that the towing company industry is pretty much a shakedown racket but when Britt McHenry does return to ESPN it will be hard to see her and not think about her condescending and arrogant remarks. McHenry doesn't appear to be someone who has lost their temper or is out of control. She never even raises her voice. She appears calm, cool and collected. She wasn't caught on her worst day or in an intense and stressful moment. I would be willing to bet that this is not the first time she has played the "I'm on television" card. She was caught in the act of being herself.

Honestly I had no idea who she was and when she comes back in a week/month/year, I still won't know who she is besides some chick on my tv asking athletes questions.

It's not like we are asking her to bring us world peace

so your saying its ok to bully people just because she is on tv reporting sports?

I don't even like ESPN anyway. For my sports news, if I'm watching TV, I watch Fox Sports, the NFL Network, the MLB Network, and NBA TV. ESPN's programming has turned to garbage over the past several years.

So the lady behind the counter is a human waste receptacle. Puts McHenry's comments in a different light IMO. She had it coming.

So you get suspended from your job because you have a run-in with the lady at the tow shop. that's dumb. whatever happened was between her and the tow ho.
