I think it's a little beyond ridiculous that some of you think she should have been fired. Yeah she was a *****, but what impact does that have on her ability to be a sideline reporter?

I mean do Yall even realize that you are saying ruining someone's day is equivalent to losing one's livelihood? I know we can be rash and say dumb stuff, but are yall being for real?
bully much in your day?

I've had a run in with people in the towing business before as well and can say that they actually are pretty awful people. When I called in about my car-- which I was extremely polite-- the woman at the tow place treated me like ****.

And let's be real guys, she is a sideline reporter. They are paid to 1. Look good. 2. Be well spoken. 3. Ask questions. They aren't hired for their opinions.

None of this matters. She gave her opinion and more and proceeded to do so even after she knew she was being recorded.

Both people involved aren't saints. The tow company has a bad history AND the women who took the video was aggressively shopping it around for days trying to stir up trouble

Your point?! The tow people could be horrible people and they could be running a horrible business. They didn't however put those words into Britt's mouth. She acted a fool, it was caught on camera and she's paying for it. Had this been a police officer running his mouth like that tell me how this would be any different?

Doesn't matter! All she had to do was pay the fine, keep her mouth shut and drive away with her car. She chose to make it a spectacle and fling her high school insults. I have no sympathy for the bltch.

Unfortunately for her she has a fair chance at losing her job only because she works publicly in front of the camera. If she does get fired it won't be the fault of the tow company it'll be her fault, plain and simple.

How do you know I'm not Britt McHenry? Or that she doesn't follow this site?

Dude, just stop.

I know. She's an attractive woman. We didn't all need to know that you would hit it though.

Actually, maybe your wife should know about this development.

Tell your wife about this. How you want to hit it!

Report back to us. God, you're such a geek.

We await your next witty reply.

Dude you are talking about Killing Dick Cheney in another thread. Lol

I bet she doesn't lose her job and if she does, oh well, she will be replaced with another "plastic" and tow truck chick will still be a miserable...

Me bully or get bullied by? In school I was the funny guy that could be a dick but was nice, so my answer is no either way.

If you seriously think that this girl should lose her job for this though, then I suggest one of two things:
1. Start using your head for something other than a hat rack.
Or if you use your brain/ logical thinking
2. Break out of your special snowflake mentality. What that girl said was awful, but it should not be anywhere close to grounds for termination.

I think it would be really interesting to see what the unedited version of the video looks like. That tow clerk might look a little less like a victim in that case. Though Britt is still an extremely annoying person due to the fact she pulled the "I'm on tv, I'm important" card.

This is all too much ado about nothing. Was she wrong? Heck yes! But it's all rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Let it go people.

:p
One, McHenry isn't reading this site.

Two, my use of private was quoted, meaning obviously it's not private but since point 1 holds true, McHenry won't know it was ever said, hence private.

Three, if you think my joking about my willingness to sleep with an attractive woman, whom none of us know, is the same as you knowingly and directly talking about my wife, then I worry for the students who are subjecthttp://www.volnation.com/forum/images/smilies/default/tongue.gif:):):):)!:)ed to your teaching skills. However, if you want to say something about my wife go ahead. I don't know you from Adam, will never meet you, can't do anything about you and in the grand scheme of things I don't really care. It's a sports message board, full of testosterone dudes, I don't expect it to be a bastion for morality.

So its not okay for her to call the tow company employee names, but its okay for you to call her a *****?

How was she wrong?

It's wrong to treat people as badly as she treated the tow company employee in civilized society. That being said, it's not important enough to warrant all the discussion and certainly not enough to warrant her being fired from her job. Just another example of our population being goaded into an emotional reaction by the media when we should really be pissed about much bigger issues that adversely affect many more people.
