ROFL. Ole Miss has one bad loss and have beaten three solid teams. We'll find out more when they play LSU. 4TH best in the SEC imo. (A road loss without your star player is seriously not even important. They are talented and will do well in SEC play)

They're on the same level as Ole miss.

And iirc the NCAA DOES NOT take into consideration suspended players, they take into consideration injured players. Was henderson injured, or suspended?

OP talks out of both sides of his mouth. Talks about how Martin always finishes strong. Which he does. But never strong enough to get into the NCAA. Which he doesn't. So why will this season be any different than the last ones? It will not. Same path...ugly early....good late and welcome to the NIT.

And even if they do, they had 20+ wins last year and didn't get in. Nor did the NCAA take 4 SEC teams last year.
Frankly on paper this team should have been a 24-27 win team this year. No way that's happening now. And at worst this team should have had no more than 2 losses to this point and you see where we are at today.
You can certainly sit there and defend Martin till the bitter end. But when we are in the same spot in March as we were the last two years are you going to be happy with yourself and your defense of him?

Ole miss hasn't beaten 1 team with a RPI better than 100, what the heck are you talking about?

For comparisons sake we have beaten 4 teams with a RPI better than 100.

Can you even find me a bracket that has Ole miss in? Or even like first four out? They're not even on the bubble.

I'm not sure " on the train" is where I was, but maybe I was to the point of being cautiously optimistic. After tonight, I am pretty much done as long as CCM is the coach here. I can't stand the inconsistent play and lack of passion by Stokes every 3-4 games. I have season Tix in the lower level and the remaining tix are going on Craigslist.

Oh, and I will gladly take your $100 to the bank.

I don't know that the NCAA has anything printed, but Lunardi says it every year that's how they view it, and it's how he defines them as well.

Good wins are wins verse top 50 RPI teams
Bad losses are losses verse teams with 100 or worse RPI teams

It will take this team tanking to not make it, it's possible, but I'm pretty confident they're getting in.

I understand both sides, however I think several people including myself was not looking for a bubble team. I havent given up but we will have to get several quality wins for us not to be a bubble.

I'm as big of a fan as there is and would gladly give up $100 if they were to get in. However, I just don't see it happening. They are so inconsistent and poorly coached. It's a shame, because they have NCAA tourney talent, but NIT coaching. I would not be surprised to see them lose to AU We'd. Night. Just saying....

A lot of bad coaches have had enough talent to get them into the dance, the verdict is still out on this one.

Lose to auburn and I will really start to question it, but right now I'd say it's about 75% chance we dance IMO.

We're in year 3 and nothing has changed. I say it's more 50/50 we get in right now. Will they be able to rebound from this heartbreaking loss? We shall see.

That could be a defining game. Let this A&M loss linger and it could be a 3 game losing streak or worse.

Let this be a fluke and a wake up as to what conference play is and move on.
