Are we starting individual threads for silly grievances now? I thought they just went in the BLM thread.
What about this?
Can’t imagine why all these Republikkkans are so mad about their daughters getting F’ing dominated in athletics. Biology isn’t real folks. Gender is fluid. Men can menstruate! So why are you backwood rednecks so mad about this?
Anyone got any BLUE font I can borrow?

Just googled it. This article is not about homogenizing all sports or putting all the athletes in the same pool regardless of gender, but about segregating by other factors like physical strength and ability level. Something that’s already the aim of segregating youth sports by age and something that would address the concerns of the “Republikkkans” and their daughters.
I’m not convinced it’s a good idea as a maximal rule across all sports, particularly competitive individual sports, but it is already being done situationally, so it’s not really that outlandish.
Separating Sports by Sex Doesn’t Make Sense
To the thread topic
The death last week of cookbook writer Diana Kennedy at age 99, regarded as the world’s most knowledgeable expert on Mexican cooking, put the issue squarely on the table. “She never reckoned with her authority over Mexican cuisine as a white British woman,” The New York Times asserted, as if Kennedy had strip-mined the country’s farmland on orders from the Queen. The Los Angeles Times, too, noted that frequent charges of “cultural appropriation” leveled at Kennedy had left her with a tainted legacy.

The green M&M, no contest.Curious, were you knuckledraggers most upset about (1) Dr. Seuss, (2) a black mermaid, or (3) Mr. Potato Head?

And though sex differences in sports show advantages for men, researchers today still don’t know how much of this to attribute to biological difference versus the lack of support provided to women athletes to reach their highest potential.
Fair point. Food is food. I couldn't care less if my Indian or Thai or Italian was cooked by a person with the matching ethnicity. To the thread topic

Yeah there were several places where the author tried to downplay the biological differences between males and females or show support for these differences being social rather than biological. That’s not a persuasive point. Anybody who has watched the Olympics or CrossFit games knows there is a difference that can’t be made up with better training. Tia Claire Toomey has won the last six or seven CrossFit games. I don’t know that she would make the games if she were competing in a pool with men. It’s just a dumb argument.I found the article earlier, kinda turned off after this
This is hilarious because yet again liberals are showing what hypocrites they are. The left lost their minds a few years ago because Zoe Saldana played a black woman, to the point she had to apologize. All I've seen about this is people getting mad because some people hit a dislike button, not people going off. That's laughableThought this could be a cool thread to laugh at all the silly "causes celebres" that get Republicans hot under the collar.
The whole black mermaid thing is just so hilarious when you hear what that story is really about. I'm guessing the Republicans don't want Disney to make THAT movie.
'The Little Mermaid' Was Originally a Metaphor for Unrequited Gay Love
Does Dixie youth segregate based on ability?Yeah there were several places where the author tried to downplay the biological differences between males and females or show support for these differences being social rather than biological. But the conclusions weren’t as far fetched as the strawman tweet presented them. It’s already basically what we do with Dixie Youth. The story about the girl wanting to play tackle football was a situation where it might be applicable to competitive sports. The use of physical ability rather than gender would also provide a solution for transgender boys competing as girls.
