4th and 17 in the fifth over time, Clausen to Fayton for a first down. Then the next defensive possession Jason Allen knocks away a 4th down pass in the corner of the endzone to win it. That game was so up and down I about had 3 heart attacks.

In 1982 I was working at the UT Book & Supply Store.....after the game we were all standing on the little covered porch and watched the goal post come up stadium drive with wall to wall people.......Most amazing site I have ever seen........

95 was amazing. I knew from that first pass it was over. I also made enough money off the game to pay off my tuition and rent for the rest of the semester so we all had a great night  (except for our E bookies)

Mine would have to be in 1994. I had just gotten my wisdom teeth taken out the day before and was drugged up on Medicine. I had all kinds of gause in my mouth so the whole time I watched the game I couldn't make a sound. I would clap as loud as I could on my couch as we went on to romp Bama 41-14 behind some guy named Peyton Manning.

Another great memory was Tony Robinson scoring a two point conversion with 2 minutes left to win in 84...Majors had some balls in those days.

And of course the greatest INT I have ever witnessed in 85, Dale Jones INT of Mike Shula...Unreal!

Tennessee scored on the opening drive. Kremser hit a 54? yarder to go up 10-3. Bama scored late, went for two and did not get it. Bama got the ball back on an onsides kick and was kicking a feild goal with 4 seconds left. Kick Blocked by Jimmy Weatherford. Man that was the greatest cause Bama was undefeated and headed for another NC bid.

John Ward's "it's a Big Orange 100-yarder" on the Peerless Price KO return in 1998 (I think).

I was in that crowd - what a great day. It's my best college football memory ever.

1995 - I was working at Vestal Liquors. I had begged, argued, demanded, etc. to be off that night but it didn't work.
So I just popped open some of the wine and liquor at the store and got wasted.
came back to work on monday and owner was looking at the in-store video (which I didn't know about) of my escapades - I was fired, but it was worth it. Particularly since a few months later, my replacement was beaten half to death during a robbery.

best memory? probably '96 when little sacked kitchens, ensuring the victory. that was the first time that i had ever seen the vols beat bama in person, which i still find kind of unbelievable.

a close second is clausen's 25 yd 4th down pass for a 1st down in the multi-overtime game. what a clutch play!

the worst memory? '82, by far! i had tickets available but said, "i'm not driving all the way from memphis on friday night and back on sunday just to see us lose #12 in a row." huge mistake -- i'll regret it forever.

heath shuler to craig faulkner in the 93 game that ended in a tie. too bad our defense couldn't stop David Palmer on that last drive. it was cool to be there though, that was my first "big" game to see live, other than the cotton bowl in 90 and a liberty bowl against Minnesota.

96 Terry Fair's int and Jay Grahm's big run....me and my two roommates just jumping up and down spilling our drinks screaming...the folks sitting in front of us didn't even care....both times.

95, watching on TV with a bunch of friends, and all of us screaming and yelling about the 80 yard bomb to Kent, and the subsequent beatdown. it was the first time in 9 years. it was a good night.

Greatest memory in Neyland ever! 35-28 GO VOLS!

LAJBOYS, you can't really be a fan?
1) You were not at the game.
2) You went to the Dentist!!!

So because you don't go to the game you can't be a fan? I've sat through wins losses, rain, snow, and everything else you can imagine for 18 straight years at UT, going to at least 50% of the home games every year and never missing a game while I was a student for 4 years. I'm just as much a fan as anybody else. Speaking of fans, how many will we see at the game this weekend?

1999 was the top to bottom best game. Minimal mistakes on both sides of the ball and pure Temorris Martin domination.
