I am younger than some on this board and only have fuzzy recollections of games in the early 90's on back. For me, the '03 Bama game was unbelievable. For awhile, it seemed the game would never end.

My favorite memory was watching J.Jones take the pitch from Cockrell and run for the TD and the first win in Birmingham in many years. The 82 game was also great, but the 83 game in Birmingham was special.

The 1982 game...I still have nervous twitches because of that game lol...What an incredible atmosphere...The Bears last game against UT
Brother, I was only a soph. in high school when that game was played, but i remember it like it was yesterday. I was in section X with my dad and was one of those who helped bring down the goalpost. I have been to a number of Tennessee game including the sugar bowls in 85 and 91, but without a doubt it was my most favorite game of all time.. in fact think i will pull out the tape and watch it one more time !!!! GO VOLS:worship:

Tennessee scored on the opening drive. Kremser hit a 54? yarder to go up 10-3. Bama scored late, went for two and did not get it. Bama got the ball back on an onsides kick and was kicking a feild goal with 4 seconds left. Kick Blocked by Jimmy Weatherford. Man that was the greatest cause Bama was undefeated and headed for another NC bid.

This was my first trip to Neyland Stadium (I was fourteen). The Tennesse band that day did the circle drill for the first time.

1969 (41-14) was pretty good. Steve Kiner basically called out the Bama players for not playing well. The Bear had kind words for Kiner after that game.

And 1970 (24-0) went over pretty well, also.

1967 (24-13) was great, also. Albert Dorsey intercepted three passes in the fourth quarter. The picture of Mike Jones breaking up a pass to Dennis Homan wound up on the cover of Sports Illustrated the next week.

I know you like to break the mold, but Manning to Kent in 1995 ended a decade of frustration in one play. That's GOT to be in the top 5.

I vageuly remember the early 80's game with Jones, Mike Terry etc., but I remember the '85 game clearly.

The best memory I have is before the '95 game started, the sun was setting through my trees and with the fall colors everything had an orange tint to it. I told someone maybe that was an omen, a few minutes later, Manning hits Kent on the 1st play, and history was made. I remember everyone driving around hiking and waving UT flags, and the radio playing UT songs all night long. Good times.

"We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama...".

Dale Jones interception in 85. Incredible play. Also Peyton's bootleg touchdown, one of the best all-time Peyton highlights.
