Did you guys plan that avatar thing? That's cute....

Side note: THAT'S RIDICULOUS. Way too much money on a school.

It's all for the kids, people. Cost is of little importance when it comes to educating our kids.

Let's see....

4,200 students, a 50% graduation rate, and $578,000,000 to build a school.

What does that cost work out to on a per-student basis?

Maybe that could be a question on their exit exams, assuming they still have tests.

just think of all those union teachers sponging money off the taxpayer and then voting for libtards like Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsome.

The people responsible for the stamp of approval on this should be downsized immediately to help with the budget problems CA is having.

My former school system here in Alabama has bought Macs for every student in 4-12. They have done away with textbooks, they are now on the computers. They charge $50 insurance fee for each compter. They were the first in the state to do that.

Nothing. It's about finding something wrong, with something you don't care for.

i could care less what you want to spend your money on. it's when erik and some others pull the "we are only about charity" and the "one needs jesus to be a good person" garbage when i start to roll my eyes.

I didn't participate in that discussion, but I don't think that is a good representation of what was said.

Well surely then we will see a positive post about the good things the church does, unless it is about something you don't care to believe......won't we? We know there are churches out their that do not put their money towards God's work, and their pastors look like big oil CEOs instead of preachers. But surely if you want to look at the broad picture you can find churches that are operating as directed.

As far as the "good person" line. You can be a good person that attends church every Sunday, and not be a believer of Jesus Christ.

I wouldn't ask you since it appears that math is not your favorite subject (hint: you are missing a key variable).

huh? i only have spoken up when people claim moral superiority and then post pictures of their $10 million Louis XVI-esque church as proof. i've never said all churches were bad or wasteful.

you can also be a good person and not attend church at all.
