Your Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Thread III

I'm not the type of sports fan to where I have multiple teams in one sport to cheer for but I really enjoy watching the Memphis Grizzlies play (I'm a Celtics fan). I love watching Gasol & Randolph. Since my Celtics haven't made the postseason the last couple of seasons I have found myself really pulling for Memphis. I like what they have done this offseason by adding Stokes, who I think will be a real solid role player & be able to give Gasol/Randolph breathers, & adding a veteran presence/scorer in Carter.

I wished the Grizzlies had more of a TV presence in East Tennessee, I don't get many of their games in the Tri-Cities. Also wished I lived a little closer so I could travel to some games, the home court environment seems unreal on TV.

“Memphis is like, to compare it to New York, you know, it’s like back in the Stone Age, you know, when you didn’t have electricity and stuff. But, you know … and that’s not a knock on Memphis as much as it’s just a contrast in how developed and how unbelievably electric New York is versus Memphis.,,"

I get what he means, but his comparisons tend to leave bad impressions on people.

I do agree with you Crew.
Must have been a slow night for Carrie Anderson. I read the article and I suppose one could take offense, especially if they don't like the storyteller. I'm not sure his remarks weren't factual. Never been to NYC ,but I bet Memphis ain't as bright! I'm certain we are laid back and New Yorkers talk to fast !!!!!
Good day!

They also mentioned '..bad job by NY posting the job on their website..' and not editing out some of the material.

He's right, but that's completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Let it go, Lionel.
