It’s not a bad move. Just nothing significant. It just turned Melton into Kennard.

The playoff rotation is now Kennard for Melton and Santi for Kyle. Everything else stays the same.

Fair. But it seems like wishful thinking that there was going to be some magic move that suddenly, dramatically improved our title chances.

Kennard's contract expires (as well as Tyus) at the end of next season right before Bane's deal will kick in.

As I mentioned earlier, there was no proof they was going to make the OG or Bridges type move to take on more long-term salary after 23-24....
