Ultimately, this team is too flawed to win more than a game or two in the first round

1. No back up PG for when Ja gets dinged up or acts like a fool again.

2. Not enough shooting. Other than Bane, this team is full of guys who other teams dare to shoot. Kennard helps but he is so defensively limited. Really need a wing or big that can shoot but Ziaire, Roddy, Konchar, Vince, Jake, and Santi just can't shoot.

3. No big to do dirty work/little things JJJ isn't as good at (i.e. screening). Perfect world JJJ plays more at the 5 but until we find a competent wing, that's not an option.

4. No financial flexibility to address 1-3 unless F.O. decides they want to be a taxpayer.

5. Once Clarke comes back, this team has 6 guys that should be in a playoff rotation. One of those guys is coming off an Achilles and another one is Kennard.

Vince -23 in 30 mins
Tillman -15 in 16 mins
Ziaire -15 in 18 mins
Gilyard -11 in 6 mins

6 guys -120 in 109 mins. None should be anywhere near a rotation. Way to go King Kleiman

Johnny Boards brought the intangibles with a team leading -30 in 24 mins. Him and the other 5 non NBA players combined for -129 in 135 mins....

4 point game late in the second when Biyombo and Konchar was subbed in for Jaren and Smart.....

18-2 run ended it right there.

Bane was -27 because he got stuck with the bums during that run...

The point remains that 6 guys who shouldn't see a NBA court got absolutely run off if it when the game was still close. That is a Kleiman problem...

He gets a bad whistle but he can't get out rebounded 20-2 either...

This is a very flawed team with really no means for getting better in the short to intermediate term (without becoming a taxpayer which I don't think this F.O. wants to do)

Ja playing like crap (7/19 against bums) in his matchup and Jaren/Tillman getting bitched on the boards by Zubac. That's why they had the 3 worst +/- last night....

Bums ? The Clippers are playing pretty good ball, right now. Won 11 out of the last 13. Ja still had a double/double. No shame in losing at LA, imo

Agree but to be fair, Lue moved P. George onto Bane midway thru 1H and moved Harden from Bane to Smart. Smart did well with Harden "guarding" him. Zubac was giving Jaren the 3 and JJJ was hitting them.

The issues was Ja couldn't score on a bad defender (Mann), the bums (4/19) couldn't score on anyone, including Harden, the team couldn't rebound anything....

If Ja hit a couple of the wide open threes (7) that he missed, the bums actually were competent NBA players, and there was some semblance of rebounding, the Grizz win that game since PG/JH didn't play that well...

Big game tonight if you want to make a run at the play-in. If you win tonight, the next 2 are very winnable at home. 13-21 at least gives you a shot to make a run...
