Your Recruiting Fix is on the way

I still think Ambles is likely to end up on the West Coast, Dudley. I think we have a shot though and that is all one can really ask for.

Depending on the amount of info, I may do a Signing Day's Eve version of the Recruiting Fix. Stay tuned to VN or follow me on Twitter. Preferably, do both.

Well Sab, its no secret around here what my thoughts are on Ambles but I respect your insights on all recruits.

Sab,

Are you going to give a brief rundown today or does the patience require that we wait until Tuesday night.

Whether or not he signs on NSD or not, we will still know who, where, or what he committed to. That's all I am saying. I'm not trying to make a conspiracy theory out of it.

I actually I think UT has a better shot at landing Ambles than USC. I think distance is a factor for him and will prevent him from going west when its all said and done. However, I'm not saying he will land at either one. He could choose to go to another school like UNC. I thought LSU was a big threat, but after Miles in home visit and his decision not to visit them this weekend, I believe they have slipped. My guess however, and I do mean guess, is he signs with UT in the end.

I think Ambles is the Richardson (Nuke) of 2009 in Recruiting Only. I see it as a gig that Kiffin played on CUM.

I may be wrong but just a gut feeling. However, I do not see Ambles going that distance.

I would like to think that just by those basic thoughts, that it will be rather easy to read what happened to Markeith in the end. That's just me though.

I cannot imagine anyone saying it's easy to read Markeith Ambles. You can suppose to know what's going on in his head, but you'd likely be wrong.

I don't think he committed to either Kiffin or the university. I think he committed to both. You have to remember, USC was a player and a leader waay back. If Carroll did not stop recruiting him, we would not even be sitting here talking about the possibility of him ending up at UT.

My list....

1st (a) - UT
1st (b) - USC
3rd - UNC

Distance is a huge factor here, and Markeith really likes the south. We'll see just how much he likes Kiffy in the end. Plus, Markeith knows that the SEC is the featured conference on TV, so as much as I think it's a life changing decision for him, I think he's smart enough to know that the SEC is by far the most coveted conference in America. The SEC has more BCS National Championships than any other conference. I think he also knows that he would have a better chance to be the featured WR here, versus USC. These are all my opinions though.

Ha kind of funny that the news about Ambles not signing on NSD is being treated as a secret. It was in a story last night I believe.

I'm hoping he's been influenced by his future Vol teammates to know that Tennessee is where he'll be happiest.

USC is on TV just as much as UT. I don't think it comes down to the factors that you indicate. JMO.

I am glad to see you back Sab, and glad to have someone explain why Crump and Sapp etc will be good additions if we end up needing to take them.

If we finished with
D Robinson
D Rogers
Ambles
J Stone
and C Smith I would be freaking ecstatic.
