Georgia has been a good team over the past few years, no doubt; however, they continually waste talent. Georgia should win 9 games a year automatically considering the talent that is instate. Georgia has been a good program, but never been a program that can take the next step. No way Georgia is a top 5-8 program this decade though. It's ok though because I am sure Mark Richt prays for you guys continually. FYI citing a radio show as a source gives us the perception that you would have troll like qualities, my apologies for jumping to the assumption.
I dont think they have wasted talent on the offensive side of the ball and when Van Gorder was the DC he turned 3 stars into ALL SEC, Pollack, Thomas Davis and Tim Jennings come to mind. Now Martinez constantly took top talent and under performed. He also let guys play when the talent behind them was way better. For instance letting Bryan Evans play in front of Baccari Rambo when Evans was consistently getting burned. I also believe with different defensive coaches Reshad Jones and several others would have been better. I feel alot better about the defensive situation now with Grantham, Belin and Lakatos.
