No. Most of those had more than 6 months of testing and prevented me from actually getting and dying of polio.

This vaccine does the great job of preventing transmission, infection, hospitalizion, and death. Oh yea, it doesn't prevent any of those things my bad.

Do you mean that it doesn't 100% prevent all that stuff?

Yes prevent and mitigate are different. And I can give you a terabyte of links where these vaccines were touted to "prevent" all that stuff before they realized they were crap and had to change the message.

If it prevents cases and deaths, then yes, it prevents. Nobody needs your links. The vax disappointed on its promise but it still prevented an immense amount of hospitalizations and deaths. It's almost a certainty that some of the people erroneously saying it doesn't prevent death because it didn't eliminate all cases are alive to tell the wrong tale only because of the vax.

I think at this point it’s probably best described as a therapeutic. It reduces symptoms, especially in elderly people and those who are immunosuppressed, but doesn’t necessarily prevent. From the get go the message was never properly conveyed and I don’t either side has done a good job of being honest about it.

Agree somewhat, still waiting on better explanations for excess deaths around the world and the money that's behind all of this.

Do 75 yo's not matter? What are you saying?

My cousin's husband died of covid. 45 and running Ironmans. Better shape than 99% of us.
You said a lot of people are only alive due to the vax. I said yes if they are 75+ it might have helped. Pretty worthless beyond that.

And I have a diabetic, asthmatic grandpa who's 81 unvaxxed and kicked COVID in 3 days. **** happens, it's unfortunate.

Didn't this kid catch covid from Kirk? Kirk caught it before the vaccine release.

ESPN analyst Herbstreit says he has coronavirus

a July 2020 study published in JAMA Cardiology, researchers discovered that 78 out of 100 patients recovering from COVID-19 had some kind of cardiac impairment, and 60 of those had myocarditis after recovering, independent of whether or not they had preexisting conditions or how severe their COVID-19 symptoms were.

Didn't Herbstreit at some point have his youngsters going to Nashville's MBA? Anyway I'm not a big fan of the father but hope this youngster nothing but the very best in his health and future.

Nearly half the people who died of covid were under 75. 74k Americans under the age of 49 died of covid. Stop offering bad info, please.

And the vax would've helped? Because a lot of them had it. And I'm sure they all died with COVID. Not sure how many died from COVID.

But I honestly don't care to talk to you much more. You're one of my least favorite posters.
