Never been to a Hurricane party but I'm sure I would have been right in the middle of one!! Seeing first hand the aftermath of Ian, I wouldn't even wish that on an Alabama fan...

I've been here in Ft. Myers going on 26 years. My first Hurricane was my first summer here, Georges. We just got stuff from the right quadrant but it was a cat 4 and brought alot of water.

Anyway, I had a blast for a long time tracking hurricanes and tropical storms. I had a big chart on my wall for years. Hurricane parties on the beach were awesome.

I'm over all that now. Hurricanes bad.

Georges was my first hurricane, too. It was a Cat 1or 2 when it got to us, tho.
