He may be correct and I as a fan can tell that dobbs is scared to sling it around the field but I cant stand gary tebow lover, or verne to old to be calling games and their anti vol rhetoric. If you can't sense the chubby they get from us losing then you probably don't read ppl very well. Viagra and UT losing is the only thing that lifts those pleated trousers

He was right,i don't know what's going on with Dobbs. The last pass against Arkansas was terrible and had no chance. It's like he threw and said well I least I tried. On fourth and 13 we need 14 not a touchdown throw that has no chance.Play to win.

Also, Dobbs "great decision making" means, well Pearson is 14 yards down field wide open. I can't make that pass so I'm either dumping it off or running for it. That's what I want in a great decision making quarterback right there!

I guess he forgot about that 60 yard TD the defense handed over in the game where Dobbs pretty much was the MVP that he was covering. Yeah the whole season is on Dobbs...

Dobbs running for his life afraid to make a throw when he had the options doesn't make him the MVP. Florida dared him to throw all game, he was too scared the entire time.

I think this is absolutely correct. Dobbs has regressed, and I think that is 100% on the coaches.

It's easy to play when expectations aren't high. This is Dobbs first year not being the underdog or 2nd string. It's a whole new game when the expectations are high, unfortunately for Dobbs and Jones, they tighten up and pray they don't screw up

I heard Butch say in his Monday presser that the is a 40 point checklist that the QB has to go through. Maybe this is the problem. Dobbs is thinking too much and not reacting!

Get off this bogus argument. Explain Florida's 5-0 start with a younger, less experienced roster being led by a first year coach. If you can do that, which you can't, I'll consider entertaining your ill-conceived point. Until then, please stop with the youth and inexperience nonsense.

Absolute bull****. Look at who Florida is putting on the field and who we are putting on the field.... They are fielding... What rotating one or two true freshmen in special plays... Give me. A break. Their two and three deep is pretty young... That's why they are two and three deep. Regardless they are putting a lot more experience on the field. I'll tell you something else... You don't just step on the field and expect wins I don't care WHO you are. You EARN them.

Haven't seen it debunked yet. All you have to do is look at who's making plays... Experience, and who's not making plays... Inexperience. Pretty simple. It's too much on the field. If these guys knew what they were talking about they would be on the field.

All people need to do is look at the depth chart.

Minus Maggitt North Howard McNeil.... ouch

Butch has been pumpin yall this BS for 3 years about "WERE SOO YOUNG" and don't have talent...............we'll I say "GREAT COACHES, don't make excuses, they figure out a way to make it work with the talent they have" ala Harbaugh, Mclwain (sp?), Briles, Patterson! Unfortunately, Butch Jones & staff can't win a big game unless they have supremely more talent than the other team which will cover up his coaching flaws...........GBO

107 rushing yards and 58 reception yards. He threw a passing touchdown and also had a receiving touchdown and took some tough hits just in the first half. Doesn't seem like he is scared to me. Stupid comment

He's absolutely right and we all see it. There is good reason for that. WE HAVE TOO MUCH ENEXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD... Duh. Can't believe these experts haven't figured it out yet.

2016 is the year, and if it looks the same I will be going negative... But that is next year. This year is a support and give it a chance year. They may surprise us yet.

Getting tired of people saying that next year is the year. We should see some improvement this year. I know the season isn't over, there's still a lot of football left to be played but I'm not seeing any indication that ut will be a championship level team next year. I was expecting a 1 game improvement this season, I don't think it happens. Improve a little in the W/L column as a team and I'll start believing it happens.

I absolutely think Dobbs is over thinking the game, especially when passing. He waits for the receivers to get open before he throws or he makes sure to throw it so far from the receiver to make sure the DB can't intercept. Whenever the Vols got behind in the last minute, or in overtime, he seems to just look for his receiver and throw the ball. much better velocity and better accuracy. He doesn't use the thought process. He just needs to do the pre-snap reads and trust his instincts and throw the ball. Mental issues more than physical.

If Dobbs doesn't fumble we win that game. If Dobbs doesn't throw a pick in overtime against ou who knows what would've happened. The whole season isn't on Dobbs but he's done nothing to win these big games when it counts. Nor has he ever won a big game. He's not a big time qb, but Tennessee will have one soon and we'll be fine. It's just frustration we all have cause we care about the program. At the end of the day josh Dobbs in not the qb to get us back to prominence.

I love all of the "coaching tight" stuff. I remember all of the complaints about Fulmer clapping as his team came off the field after a bad play.

Some people will never be happy. I do think this staff is calling it tight. That's there thing. That's Butch's thing. It can work but all of his pieces have to be in place and that includes his players with experienced leaders on the field. Not to mention, once this team gets to that point, we are still going to have deficiencies. Every team does. That's when will see if this staff is capable of scheming and adjusting.

The fact that best throw of the night came from a receiver should be yelling at you right now.

Winners win, I don't know what else to tell you. You didn't hear Harbaugh and McElwain complaining about "youth" when they took the job at Mich. and Florida, and I know you sure as **** won't hear them saying that in year 3.

And yes they're defensive line had a lot of experience.....and we ran for 400 yards on them..... experience doesn't win games.

Never want him and Vern, Hey Vern ! to ever call another Tennessee game again. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life

Vern (the WORST sports announcer EVER!) couldn't have been any more giddy when Floridah scored on us to win the game...he's not biased or anything

It's a high school level offensive system in a league which is essentially an NFL proving ground.

Couple this with a lousy offensive line and under performing wide receivers and laying it all at the feet of Dobbs is beyond short sighted.

He isn't great but a different QB would struggle as well with the ultra conservative and one dimensional play calling and the continued poor play of 3rd year players in the O line and WR group.
