Putting him on offense doesn't mean he has to play RB. We could find multiple ways to get him the ball. He's has the ability to make people miss in space. You have to try to utilize that talent somehow. I would at least give him the ball a few times on an endround during a game or two. He's just another possible weapon in our pocket.

Tore both of my ACL's playing football.

First one: walked off the field little to no immediate swelling–just thought it was a little banged up and didn't finish practice. Next morning it was huge (very very swollen) and couldn't put pressure on it at all.

Second one (opposite leg): Torn in game. no immediate swelling. Tried to go back into the game and played a play but just couldn't go. Doctor on sideline told me it was a torn ACL, i told him he was wrong and that I had already torn one and knew this was different (i had just played a play on it, surely it wasn't a torn ACL). Next morning no swelling at all and could walk gingerly -- knew the doctor was wrong because it reacted so differently. Went to the specialist and had MRI and it was confirmed I had torn it. I asked why it didn't swell like the last one and he said most likely it was already partially torn and there wasn't a lot of bleeding when it finally tore the rest of the way.

So basically an ACL can be torn regardless of how it initially swells or the level of pain. Just thought I'd share.

I'm starting to think all this new technology in "sports science" is way overrated. Maybe we need to go back to the good ole days of rubbing some dirt on it and play on.

So everyone we persuaded to stay instead of going to the draft got hurt this year. Awesome .

I thought the hit that Kamara took on the sideline was worthy of 2 personal fouls. It was late and and it was targeting. 42 led with his helmet at Kamara's knees. Bull**** play all the way around.

Targeting has to be the head or neck area.

An unintended consequence of the targeting rule is more injuries to the knees.

Who's "we"? The coaches? Were they not SUPPOSED to? I know if the players had departed, there would be countless threads decrying Butch's failure. :)

Just got an ESPN update that said doubtful he returns. Kelly has to step up BIG TIME!

Kamara has been a favorite player of mine since he stepped foot on campus. Best of luck young man. Your health is more of an issue than your return sir. Heal up young man!
