It would indicate that our University has winning above everything else and we all know how that works out in the long term. Hiring Freeze would be worse than hiring a certain defensive coordinator from Ohio State that this board essentially forced the University to void a Contract to hire him. Can one not see the similar character flaws in theses two coaches?

So you want Lane to do to Ole Miss what he did to Tennessee. One and done ? Stoops still sucks. Pittman..... Lets see how he's doing in 3/4 years.

I wanted Kiffin last time when we hired Mr 🥔 head...I would gladly take him now.

I would take Freeze but would rather go after a few others first.

But.....if Fulmer is doing the hiring, and there's no reason to think he won't, we're not hiring either one of those guys. And its not happening until the end of 2021 anyway when we get rid of Gump.

Your correct!
I’ll never forget the first time I travelled the state of Mississippi as a Bank representative, I’d never seen this level of poverty, mobile home after mobile home after mobile home.
When I returned to Atlanta, I told my wife, it was so very sad, that good Americans lived in such poverty.......in the USA

Nobody said they were it's just that a large portion of our fanbase doesn't want to throw in with a bunch of cheating, you don't seem to have a problem with cheating to win, what a classy guy you must be.

I think Tennessee should go for the best available ( Freeze, Kiffin, Campbell) but Stoops is far better than the last 3 bozos Tennessee has hired.

If Freeze is swinging for the fence, we are on a Tee ball field.

Edit: Think outside the box, and go call Chris Petersen. Now that he has been out of coaching for awhile, maybe he will have a hunger to return. Let him make the decisions on staffing, and improvements on team culture. He has proven he knows what he is doing. But before you waste his time, review where the program stands right now. Look at every person who has anything to do with the program, and decide who steps up, or takes a step back. And for God's sake, get Kesling outta there. This program was at the top of the heap when he got the job, and has gone downhill ever since. In interviews, he asks stupid questions no coach should have to answer. And he makes going to a funeral more exciting than tuning into a game. Call Mike Keith, and make it happen.

Whatever. You guys act like it would be really easy to get away with it and it happens everywhere. Why in the hell would all these programs continue to shell out millions for players while never contending for Championships? Cheaters get caught and they usually pay the price.

So Hugh Freeze can change his life, ask God for forgiveness and be accepted into the ministry and eventually the gates of Heaven but the same past transgressions/accusations should keep him from being a football coach?
That is a mighty high standard some of you maintain for a government employee.

Ol happy day's will be the day we no longer try to mimic Alabama! Bring in Hugh freeze he will give us some identity and, before you know it ppl will be saying that's Tennessee football. He's perfect for Tennessee football him as well as Tennessee football deserve another chance because, get again the administration failed us hire Hugh freeze and be done with it win win
