the nation. Naturally Wright has every reason to rest on his
accomplishments to date but that hasn’t stopped this talented corner.
VolNation.com caught up with Wright to see where things currently
stand.
“I am very blessed to be in the position that I am in right now,” said
Wright. “I am just working hard on my game and getting the rest of my
team ready for the season which is coming up really soon. Camp has
gone pretty well and we look like we should be a good team.”
Being a top corner on the west coast and offers up and down the coast
the talented corner spoke about his top schools which happened to
include a school back east.
“Right now my top schools are USC, Washington, Arizona, and
Tennessee,” said Wright.
With Tennessee in Wright’s final four VolNation got the complete run
down on why Tennessee made the cut.
“Well the two big things is that the coaching staff there is really
good and I can play early at Tennessee,” said Wright. “I think the new
staff at Tennessee could turn the program around really quickly. I can
also play at Tennessee as a freshman according to the coaching staff
so that really has piqued my interest in Tennessee. Playing early is a
very important part of my decision process so that helps Tennessee a
lot.”
Tennessee does have to compete against the mighty USC Trojans who also
happen to be Wright’s dream school.
“Growing up SC was my dream school,” said Wright. “I grew up wanting
to play for the Trojans as a child. I won’t say that makes them the
favorite or anything because I am totally open right now. I am looking
what is best for me. I can’t have a favorite until I visit each
school.”
Does Wright have a visit set with Tennessee?
“I am going to visit Tennessee on September 19th,” said Wright. “I am
going to try and take everything in and see everything I can possibly
see while I am out there. I don’t want to leave a stone unturned.”
With a visit set VolNation will keep you updated on all news regarding
Wright and all other recruiting news.
