10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

Just a thought. 60 Minutes airs on CBS. CBS has had a billion plus dollar contract with the NCAA to air the NCAAT. Now unless the NCAA/CBS deal just ended, CBS might not want to destroy the NCAA.

It won't be "60 Minutes". It will be a federal court where the playing field is suddenly level.

So now you're saying that CBS isn't in Donnie's corner?

100 percent into a corner. Why you think they are doing the show. Gary Parrish has the appeal brief and reporting accordingly. ESPN radio has been interviewing Tyndall and Jackson regularly. They tell the same story I tell. Media doesn't tell the story because it makes them look bad for reporting falsehoods.

Ah, where those that refused to cooperate and answer questions will be issued subpoenas and forced to answer. I have a feeling that won't end well for the Boy Wonder.
Hey, buddy, nobody refused to answer questions. Their answers were the NCAA's problem. DT had nothing to do with the academic fraud. How many times do I Have have to say. The only evidence the NCAA had was the bribed evidence of the lying Adam Howard. Anybody with common sense would know the ten year show cause was am attempt to cover their arse.

I'm not your buddy, quit with the condescension.

You need to actually read the report like you claim you've read the appeal. Which, by the way, you still haven't provided. There were multiple people that either refused to talk, refused to provide bank records, or failed to comply with the investigation. If this goes to court, they will be subpoenaed, and then we'll really know what's going on.

There were a couple in the investigative report that refused interviews.

"The former associate head coach and graduate assistant B refused to submit to interviews or otherwise participate in the investigation. In April and May 2015, student-athlete 4's prep school coach declined to provide bank records"

Former associate head coach was ringleader. NCAA wasn't interested. Also the dude was source. Had to get rid of coach Hart fired. They ignored and covered up evidence that totally cleared DT.

You really need to get your meds checked, lay off the drugs, or whatever it is that is sending you into this fantasy world.

Here is something interesting: Article IX of Tyndall's contract at UT states that Tyndall could have to reimburse UT up to $25,000 for damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, as a result of an NCAA investigation and hearings. This cost would be paid even if Tyndall is fired.

Taken from a News Sentinel article from Dec 2014. I hope UT upholds this part of the contract, if it goes to federal court.

The associate head coach is a different person from the assistant coach in the NCAA findings. The assistant coach is Howard, the one you claim orchestrated the whole thing. Yet, in this post, you said it was the associate head coach. So which is it? You've just messed it up big for you. The associate head coach is the one that refused the interviews. Why would the guy getting immunity refuse to interview? Just admit it, you don't know crap and are just taking Tyndall's word for everything.

Willfully naive if there is such a thing.
I also understand why he got 10 years now that I've read the report.
he was fighting them trying to cover up and influence testimony from witnesses from day 1 of the investigation.
I like the part where he was calling frantically.
15-20 times in the space of an hour trying to reach some of the kids.

And the biggest shame of all, what was he teaching these kids?

Ooop, now you've done it. You've brought up the phone in Mama Tyndall's name that SD claims was only used for family emergencies, yet the phone records show that it was used like you just said. Now we get to hear about how that was never done, or Howard stole the phone and used it those days.

The associate head coach that refused interview got an 8 year show cause so you know that wasn't Howard.

And if he wins, he will get his buyout, and then some, buddy

Both were co-leaders of the academic fraud. Tyndall fired both when he found out. O'Conner was having an affair with a student, the girl friend of one of his players.

Oh, provide the proof of that one.

But, up until an hour ago, you constantly claimed that it was only Howard who orchestrated this whole thing. Now it was both?

That's quite a stretch.
Would be more believable that Oconnor saw what was going on after his first season at USM and decided to move on.
Howard then left from TN for personal reasons as you insisted at that time.
