I'm way late on this conversation but here's what I don't get. I can understand these guys being passionate about wanting to play for Pruitt when he was DC and for the first couple of years with us, but WHAT were they seeing after this past year that made them want to play for him so badly?

Pruitt was 16-19.....

Well I thought you meant when they were hired and 28-8 is solid but the downward trend is why most of us INITIALLY didn’t think JH was a strong candidate

And that was after he had 10 players opt out of this past season and the FG kicker miss a 22 yard FG for a W. He's a winner. It will take a season or two, but we are on the right side of Vol history now.

Had no idea the Basevols have 5 preseason AAs

Tony V said that they have 9 pictures on this staff that will be drafted. That's a ton of major league arms on one team. We also have the best pitching coach in college baseball in Anderson.

The arms are good no doubt

all SEC teams are loaded this year with covid making the rosters so large. It’s going to be which program can keep all those players happy that wins it
