As much as Ziegler has helped in the past, he hurt us badly today. Missed lay-ups, and forced lay-ups. Plavy and maybe Vescovi only ones that seemed to really want it. Crowd seemed to be fairly quiet as well. Disappointing day all around. Good thing there is a lot of season left to go.

I had a bad feeling about this game all week. People called me crazy. People said Kentucky sucks. I knew that Kentucky would play their best game of the season. That loss to South Carolina was rock bottom and we didn’t play focused basketball.

They didn’t even play good. UT just sucked today.

Well had they not missed the easy shots throughout the game, it probably wouldn't have come down to the end. And I don't necessarily agree. If a play is called it's still up to the players to execute it properly.

Blown layups and out rebounded combined with Kentucky not backing down but matching our physicality and taking it at us which most teams don’t. Rough game for Vols but a ton of season left.

I dont disagree, but the Barnes white knights wont let you say that. The teams that get it done in the big games go to the rim when they are struggling, we just throw up prayers and hope they go in.

This was a bad loss, second one of the season. Still a long way to go. I was really starting to believe this team was very capable of a deep run, and they still may be...... But they are just as capable of a first round exit.

If our players are trying to force bad shots up over and over, that is a coaching issue. Rick Barnes tends to have teams with very low offensive IQ. That Williams/Schofield/Bone year was the only exception, but even that team fell WAY short of expectations when it mattered most.

Kentucky did nothing to deserve the W if we are playing that card. Foul the hell out of us and go over the back all game to the tune of 25 FTA. Tshiebwe finished with 3 fouls. The inconsistent officiating that never evens out where one team is allowed to play with a increased level of physicality all game is killing college basketball. It's always the same dipshit officials too.

Reminded me of Pitinos first year. We were 5-0 in the conference and Kentucky was hardly even .500. Everyone expected a boat race to 6-0. Game went a lot like this one.

If other coaches get in the ear of Refs and say you know why they’re #1D because you guys don’t call them for holding off the ball and it disrupts Os. That was the recipe, that and that helped them get to line 23 times and we missed 10 layups so we left 20 points in the gym. Sad
