Plain speak was just a bunch of things he knew some voters wanted to hear. He didn't actually do many of them and was completely unprepared for the job. His appeal is great marketing of a persona. His qualities as a leader don't match the marketing

I think he wanted the border wall. I think initially maybe he wanted to reduce the deficit. It's clear McConnell and Ryan stood in the way. I don't think we knew how much. I thought he would act more presidential but he really did have good foreign policy instincts.

I don't get this whole reparations thing on a macro or mini scale. None of it makes sense that I can think of from a legal, ethical, moral or common sense stand point. Things like the Japanese Americans during WWII is much easier concept to understand to fully grasp in context.

In essence, they want the United States to provide payment to descendants of slave owners to descendants of slaves, I guess.... from which the United States wasn't a party nor actively participated, and actually spent money and resources to free. The descendants of the soldiers clearly have a better issue as they themselves were slaves to fight a war.... the United States was a party to those transactions.

Tribalism and blind loyalty exists on both sides. It’s how we’ve ended up with the likes of Trump and Kamala as our choices.

The arrogance that exists within the GOP shined during the primary process. If they could have come together and thrown all their oars in one boat to go against Trump, Trump isn’t the nominee. Alas, twenty people ran against him and the rest is history.

There really is no GOP, not really. If it were up to the leadership in the GOP Trump would have been cancelled in 2015. Right now there is the Uniparty and there is Trump.

Nobody gives a **** about the GOP.

They really do share talking points and coordinate their message. A bunch of them got busted a few years back for participating in an online text/chat channel doing just that

What we need are term limits. The longer they stay the more bought and paid for they are. Serve two terms and GTFO. These lobbies wouldn't invest so much money knowing they're only in there for a relatively short while.

What do you mean calling it „so called evidence“? It is an actual tweet sent by the Vice President herself. It has not been altered in any way whatsoever. I remember when it happened. Gotta love „democrats“. You present them with actual quotes and videos of what their leaders say and they lie right to your face and call it fake evidence. There really is no hope for such willful blindness.
