Even in extremely leftoid northern Virginia I know of one (one!) person that is a Kamala fan. They may not like Trump, but Kamala is such a clownshow that most people probably won't even vote.It will not be a land slide like many are saying. There is a large portion of this country that hate Trump more than they like America.
For the life of me I cannot understand just what Trump did to these people that has instilled such utter HATRED in them. Not a single democrat can look me in the eye and tell me that they believe Kamalala Harris is worthy of holding the highest office in the land. Not one.
And I am still waiting for one of our resident communists to give me one example of an accomplishment of hers or one thing she has done well as VP. Just one.
I am sorry, but what? do you mean that the US government itself never directly bought slaves?
if your people are the end buyers, they, and the collective, is part of the trade.
Huh. The United States isn't responsible for what private people do. It was legal for private citizens to have slaves but that has nothing to do with the United States. There is no "collective", that would be like saying you hit me with your car that the United States is legally obligation to pay the bill.
The United States i.e. government was never involved in slave trade or labor. I did find one example of a third party building ships that had slaves for the United States but that is about as much as I could ever find.
No, the United States does not owe any slaves or slave descendants money... legally, morally, ethically, etc.
This isn't setting a precedent. This is not novel in American presidential politics. Primaries are the novelty.I know it. I know that side generally just falls in line, but this is insanity. They are literally operating like a communist party and people are still jumping right in line. I'm kinda surprised the only backbone I've seen is coming from BLM.
Both sides need to be raising hell. We hate each other at the most and slightly disagree at the least, fine. Don't shred democracy. Do it the right way and let us get back treating each other like crap for other political reasons within the framework of our government. This is not a good precedent to set.
The United States is it's people.
Does this happens often? This isn't setting a precedent. This is not novel in American presidential politics. Primaries are the novelty.
A brief history of presidential primaries | Constitution Center
On Tuesday, March 5, voters in 15 states will play a major role in selecting the two major party candidates in this year’s presidential election. The Super Tuesday primaries represent an evolution from a system that once relied on congressional caucuses and nomination conventions to choose...www.google.com
Your inability to understand countervailing positions is unsurprising considering you're obdurate at your core and you don't engage with people of differing opinions in good faith. For the life of me I cannot understand just what Trump did to these people that has instilled such utter HATRED in them. If the republicans nominated literally anyone else they win. Now it's a toss up. Advice to the GOP, quit nominating people who 45% of the populace will refuse to vote for. And it may be 55%.
