I was a huge recruiting junkie until a couple of years ago until I realized that the services were making a living on click bait and essentially knew about as much as I did. I also realized that all of this really does not matter until a kid puts his signature on the dotted line. And even what I don’t know really does not matter until signing day.

Every year you will see them list a kid from Pennsylvania on their list that we do not have a chance to get but they will do anything to create a headline.

Bet this could be fixed if our coach hating fans would kick in some 5-6 figure checks to SPYRE.

These used to be “out of the blue”, but bet this one is “out of the green”.

Maybe if more of our so called fans would give to Spyre instead of making statements like yours. How many members are on VN alone? Is everyone giving 10 or $25 a month? I highly doubt it.

I am sure you are giving three figures every month right?

I woild imagine it goes something like this. Well our NIL deal was pretty good but he chose LSU in the end.

LSU is not totally off the wall. In south Mississippi, LSU is the most popular major (excludes So Miss baseball) because LSU is not Ole Miss or State, is closer geographically, and the food culture is much the same. Key’s high school wears LSU look-alike uniforms, including that Tiger emblem on the announcement post.

That said, I hope he flips.

We go to News Orleans pretty often and I was planning on going to one of his games this fall. May do it anyway.

Sampson was a huge steal. But that was the year after we beat down LSU in the own stadium iirc. So was Jordan Matthews… until he wasn’t.

Ahh yes, asking the avg fan to donate 10k+ to a collective while already donating several thousand to ut just to pay for season tickets. Seems reasonable
